"Order the bacon" is the best advice I have ever given. The food, especially baked food, is amazing! Everyone who works there are great as well. This is an American opinion who has not been paid to write this. This place is worth a return trip!
Nous allons souvent à La Bête à Pain pour le pain & des pâtisseries : Croissant, chocolatine, financier a la framboise, madeleine au citron , noeud à la framboise, etc. C'est super bon & frais! Nous avons décidé de manger sur place avec leur menu à la carte. Superbe présentation, le goût est la ! Petit menu qui change ! Explosion de saveurs au rendez vous !
Was told by many people in the area that I had to try this place. I finally did. & it honestly did not disappoint 👏. Everything was so fresh & good. Quality of food was outstanding. I have tried hollandaise sauce before & no come even close to comparison with there's. I had the benediction au saumon fumé & my wife had the pancakes fraise macha. This has been the best breakfast I've had in montreal. Finally a hidden gem breakfast I can highly recommend. The ambiance is very summer & welcoming.
I did my baby shower here & i was blown away by the level of service & the flexibility shown to me by the staff & manager. We had a shareable brunch & everything was delicious! Tiziana & Denis were amazing at coordinating everything. If you're thinking of this place for a small, quaint, event, i couldn't recommend it more!!!
Food was great. We had the croque madame, smash burger, chocolatine, cappuccino & Americano coffee. Service was fast & friendly. Atmosphere is very stylish. Great selection of fresh breads & pastries.
C'était bon mais un peu cher. Trop de monde. Les baguettes bonnes mais pas exceptionnelles. Pareil pour les croissants. Le brunch était bon mais un peu cher.
Do not dine in. The food is good but the customer service is terrible. The waitresses are arrogant for no reason. They left a clothes hanger near a table & it fell on one of the guest kid. The waitress didn't even say sorry to the kids & the parents. They were seemed annoyed that the kid was crying & the dad yelled if she is okay. Frankly speaking, you work in a customer service restaurant, be more human. You judge customer for tips but you give a resting b face all the time. 0% tips is what I will give next time!
Le service à la clientèle au-delà de mes attentes. La serveuse qui a servi à ma table a été vraiment à l'écoute de mon commentaire sur un petit truc anodin par rapport à mon plat, elle a réagi sur le champ... C'est important pour moi de le souligner, car ce n'est pas à tout les restaurants qu'on reçoit un service à la clientèle de qualité comme celui que j'ai eu aujourd'hui... Excellent café, bon plat & belle présentation dans l'assiette...

Le service & la nourriture sont impécables. J'adore cet endroit pour bruncher & diner. De plus, les pains & les gâteaux à apportez sont excellents. Je recommande vivement!
