J'ai connu la bête à pain depuis leur premier local & la succursale de Laval était top . Le service a bien reculé malheureusement il faut attendre un bout de temps avant d'avoir son café & après je l'ai eu froid pourtant je lui ai demandé un café bien chaud . Les tables communes pour ceux qui prennent juste un café & viennoiseries ne pas commodes pour tous car on doit écouter la conversation des voisins alors qu'on veut juste prendre du plaisir avec son café en silence.c'est à repenser il me semble car la clientèle augmente & aimerait bien rester fidèle .

Ils sont rendus trop difficiles, entre le déjeuner & le dîner on est obligés de prendre le brunch, on ne peut pas prendre un café avec une croissante par exemple, comme avant. En plus. Il y avait des tables vides & nous ne pouvions pas choisir une autre table, ils étaient réservés, je me demande comment on fait pour réserver tel ou tel table??? Quand je réserve jamais ils m'ont demandé quelle table je veux... Entk, nous sommes partis, je me sentais comme dans une dictature!!! Dommage, parce que j'aime la place.
Petit espace, mais toutefois assez cozy! Très bonne deuxième expérience! La première fois que j'y suis allée, j'avais pris un grilled cheese au kimchi pour le brunch & il était très bon (il ne figure plus sur le menu). Cette fois-ci ma table & moi avons pris une chakchouka (9/10: très bon avec le feta) & l'assiette de saumon fumé (9.5/10: j'ai moins aimé les chips de pain mais c'était très bon) à partager. Nous avons également pris comme boisson du thé vert (9/10), un cappuccino (7/10: le café était trop amer à mon goût) & un chai latté glacé (6.5/10; ce n'est pas le meilleur chai latté). Le service était bien, rapide & nous avons passé un bon moment. Nous avons terminé notre repas avec une tartelette au citron (7/10; pas assez acidulé à mon goût). Je recommande d'essayer, le reste du menu a aussi l'air délicieux!
Vraiment une très belle expérience à cette place. Place à pain, pizzas, sandwichs au comptoir pour emporter ou même pour manger en salle. Nous avons pris depuis le menu du dîner, comme à partir de 11h00, la cuisine était en pause suite au déjeuner. Smash burger excellent!!! La salade accompagnement était également bon, pas trop de vinaigrette, juste assez. Le café était bon, mais un peu trop de lait.

The dirty chai was nicely balanced, & both the croissant & suisse showcased the bakery's strong pastry game. However, the service was slower than expected, which could be a downside if you're on a tight schedule. With a mix of rustic & modern touches, it's a pleasant environment where you can either relax & enjoy a meal or grab something to go. While the atmosphere is great, the service during my visit was notably slow. It wasn't that the staff was unfriendly-they were pleasant enough-but there was a bit of a wait for our food & drinks, which is something to keep in mind if you're in a rush. Soup of the Day (Creamy Tomato): The creamy tomato soup was a comforting & satisfying choice. Served with a slice of fresh white bread on the side, it added a nice textural contrast to the soup. The bread was soft & slightly chewy with a nice mild flavor, perfect for dipping. The soup itself was smooth & creamy, with a balanced tomato flavor that was neither too tangy nor too sweet. The subtle hints of garlic & herbs added depth, & the creaminess didn't overwhelm the natural tomato taste. It was filling & flavorful. Dirty Chai: The dirty chai was another highlight of the meal. The spiced chai was aromatic & well-brewed, complemented by the boldness of the espresso. The spices were balanced, adding warmth without being too overpowering, & the espresso was strong enough to give the drink a nice kick without overwhelming the chai. The milk was perfectly frothed, providing a smooth & creamy texture. While it wasn't overly sweet, it hit the right notes for a comforting, satisfying drink. For those with a sweeter tooth, however, it might feel a bit understated. Croissant: The croissant was a true standout. Flaky, buttery, & perfectly golden brown, it had the crisp, crunchy exterior you expect from a well-made croissant, & the inside was light & airy. The rich, buttery flavor was balanced-decadent, but not heavy. It paired perfectly with the soup & dirty chai, making it a solid, reliable choice. Suisse: The suisse, a pastry filled with almond paste, was also quite enjoyable. The almond flavor wasn't too sweet or artificial, & the pastry itself was just the right balance of flaky & soft. It had a nice nutty richness that complemented the buttery layers of the pastry, offering a satisfying bite. It wasn't overly sweet, which made it a pleasant treat without being overwhelming. Le service à la clientèle au-delà de mes attentes. La serveuse qui a servi à ma table a été vraiment à l'écoute de mon commentaire sur un petit truc anodin par rapport à mon plat, elle a réagi sur le champ... C'est important pour moi de le souligner, car ce n'est pas à tout les restaurants qu'on reçoit un service à la clientèle de qualité comme celui que j'ai eu aujourd'hui... Excellent café, bon plat & belle présentation dans l'assiette...
Wow! Un endroit convivial, sympathique & original. Les pâtisseries sont excellentes ainsi que le café. Les employés sont courtois & le service est soigné & impeccable.
