not sure how or why this place is so well rated, but here's an honest opinion. pros - nice decor, staff was ok (cold, not rude or anything particularly wrong), clean place cons - way too loud to have a conversation, even on a monday morning. we were greeted with "just letting you know that your table is reserved at 12pm" when we walked in at 10:40. no hi/welcome, just a "hurry up" even though we reserved. 4.50$ house lemonade i ordered tasted like water. my partner had the poutine: it was dry because there was only a blob of sauce at the top, small portion for price, lacking seasoning. i had the grilled cheese: came with a side of limp & bitter greens that should've been thrown out days ago. grilled cheese itself was okay. menu is very limited. tables are very close to eachother, everyone around us seemed uncomfortable. overall, we left wishing we had stayed home & cooked ourselves.
Lunch d'affaires. Service courtois mais surtout rapide (apprécié quand on n'a qu'une heure). Le smash burger est un délice, juste faire attention à son chemisier car il est messy à manger!

We don't go out often, but we wanted to have a nice couples brunch, very spontaneously. We had only one hour to eat, so we made reservations for 10:15. We arrived at the restaurant at 10:05. The hostess made us wait till 10:20, even though there were 3 clean & ready tables when we arrived. We were the only ones waiting. I would not normally bother with this kind of nuisance, but this specific time, BECAUSE we had reservations & we were even early by 10 minutes, & there were tables - I really don't get it. She kept checking for some other clients to see if they paid their bill yet. 🤔🤷🏻♀️ & kept saying it will be a few more minutes. Finally she placed us at one of the tables that were open this whole time. 🤔🤔🤔 Aside of that, the food was delicious & fresh, served fast & the server was very courteous & attentive. In the end, we enjoyed it a lot, albeit a bit rushed. We will definitely be back, but with more time to spare, to not be in a rush.

"Order the bacon" is the best advice I have ever given. The food, especially baked food, is amazing! Everyone who works there are great as well. This is an American opinion who has not been paid to write this. This place is worth a return trip!
