I discovered Bella Italiana a couple of summers ago, & it's become a must-visit every time I'm in Montreal. This family-run gem offers the most amazing food, & the risotto is absolutely phenomenal. They always prepare it just the way I like it! The wood-fired pizza is another highlight, with a dough that's gentle on the stomach. It's truly five stars across the board!
The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, & you really feel like part of the family every time you visit. They even do catering, & their hospitality is top-notch. The staff always remembers me, & each visit feels like a reunion. Bella Italiana is simply amazing!'

Best pizza in town by far.
Great service. Local gem of Italian pizza pasta & main courses. We had a rose penne, veal Parmesan, spaghetti bolognese , calamari, margarita pizza & Bella Italian pizza.
All amazing & authentic. Calamari is done perfectly with minimal grease. Lots of meat sauce in the bolognese. Pizza is wood burning so amazing.
The service is amazing the staff are so genuine. Great family spot for us whenever we are in the area.
I used to be a great fan of their pizza's but the last two take out orders left my family & I completely disappointed. The pizza's are smaller than previous years, the dough way to thin to hold the condiments. The condiments always seem to have been slapped on with no rhyme or reason,uneven across the pizza. We've noticed that when we order take out, the pizza seem to be'old'. I showed up 10 mins after ordering them on phone & the boxes were cold & the Marguerita pizza was hard like a rock. I deleted my previous review that was singing their glory because the quality of their food is definitely not the same as it once was. Sad because this used to be my family's go to for pizza.....
Ate here for the first time tonight with my family. My husband & son each had a pepperoni & cheese pizza & I ordered the tortellini. The pizza dough was nice & light, cooked perfectly. The cheese & pepperoni where yummy & good quality. My tortellini was delicious as well. The prosciutto & rosee sauce were great 👍 Suggest making a reservation ahead of time as we were only able to get in at the last table. Service was excellent. Will be returning for sure.
This is my favourite go to Italian restaurant in Montreal. High quality food, ingredients with amazing ambience. Served in a traditional family style business where passion runs deep here. Pasta & sauces are done to absolute perfection. Finished our meal with homemade Gelato. Our server checked up on us at least 7 times & ensured we were taken care of every step of the way. This type of service is commendable these days. Merci :)
My family buys pizza here regularly. If you want stove baked pizza, you can't go wrong with Bella Italia. The pasta is also excellent!
Professional & the food is really homecoming , the owner FABIO brings out the family side of fine dining to a whole new level & it makes coming back feel like going home to a family. Simply amazing

Lovely place to visit with family or friends. Awesome ambiance & a must try if from out of town & in the area
