This spot was awesome! They had amazing Asian cuisine with a variety of vegetarian & gluten free options. The food was top quality & delicious & it was also very good value. One of the few spots you can find gluten free beer too!
This was a great little place to come for dinner. Altough its relatively tiny inside & most tables can only fit 3, max 4 people the food was great & reasonably priced. Service was also very good as well. Not to mention everything is also gluten free.
Honestly enough can't be said about @krapow.ca located in the heart of Montreal. This unassuming spot in one of Montreal hottest neighbourhoods has been serving up delicious Thai food now for 5 delicious years. I'm just so upset at myself it took me this long to come visite!
I have to start off with one of the stars of the show the Laksa. Absolutely show stopper of a soup, can't remember the last time I've had such amazing depth of flavour in a broth. Truly beautiful balance between savory, heat & umami. A elite move if u wanna take this dish to the next level in my opinion is to add the Sambal Belacan Chicken on top. It adds a layer of crunch & texture overall to the dish that to be really adds. You can also add anyone of their 3 in house Sambals to it, all were just amazing. The noodles had amazing bounce to them, the toppings all perfectly curated. Honestly a 10/10 dish, FOODGASMIC💦 to say the least! & I like to add, everything they have is gluten free!
Next we have the Beef Rendang, origins now focusing on Indonesia & boy this dish really transported me there! It's was so flavour packed full of Spices & herbs, slowly cooked for hours & hours that the meat just feel apart in yoyr mouth. Honestly I can't believe I've only ever had this dish 3 times in my life & this time had to have been my favorite tbh. This rich, sweet & savoury Stew is just what I needed.
Last but not least we have the famous beef Krapow for what they are famous for. Honestly I've only ever had this dish made with pork so I was wondering what the difference flavour notes & textures might be. Truthfully, really pleasantly surprised. Not to much heat which was a little odd because normally every time I've had this dish it really just burns your face off. But I guess they have to keep it a little calmer for the whities LOL. But again really well balanced dish especially with the fried egg on top it really lends a richness to the entire meal you break it up & eat it all together really well done. My only thing if I were to give anything to improve or add to this dish definitely a little bit of heat, & cripier beef, but still 11/10!
Amazing food! Great taste & fully gluten-free menu! No issues so far with Celiac. Savory & medium spicy main dishes.
Desserts not too sweet & just the right amount. Super recommend.
Peut être que j'avais trop d'attentes, mais je trouve que l'expérience a été correct dans l'ensemble, sans plus. Les plats sont goûteux, mais plutôt chers pour le prix. Aussi, le menu est vraiment restreint en terme de choix. L'avantage est que tout est sans gluten. Service rapide, l'endroit est plus approprié pour un dîner qu'un souper.

Delicious food with really great options for those that are gluten free (they are fully gluten free) vegetarian, & vegan. my favourite was the laska végane which is a Malaysian food with noodles, mushrooms, bok choy, chillies, sprouts & more. Definitely has a bit of a kick to it but the flavours are phenomenal & very authentic. They also have a beyond krapow which is served with an egg, rice & bok choy that surprisingly tastes like the regular thing. Great service all around & fantastic food
Gluten free friendly, simple, light, & healthy. Everything on the menu is spicy, but even though I have low tolerance to spicy, I was able to eat most of the krapow beef I ordered. I took out the rest. Still for what it is, I thought it was a bit pricey.
My partner is a celiac so the gluten-free menu was what drew us here but the food was incredible. We shared the two beef dishes on the menu, including the signature Krapow Beef, & both were awesome. The baby bok choy that accompanied both dishes was also out of this world good. We plan to go back again this week before we leave Montreal. Delish!
Really good food & staff is really nice! The only reason i give 4 stars is because despite being a gluten free restaurant they don't sell any gluten free bee

Krapow Montreal is like a little corner of Thailand right in the Plateau, perfect for anyone wanting to try some genuine Thai food. They've made sure everyone can join in, with a menu that's completely gluten-free. We tried the Boeuf Krapow & Poulet Sambal Belacan-both dishes were delicious & packed with flavor. The place has a relaxed, friendly vibe, making it just right for a quick bite or a more laid-back dinner. The staff are really welcoming, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Whether you're already a fan of Thai cuisine or just looking to try something new, Krapow Montreal is worth a visit, & it's easy to see why people keep coming back.
One of the most delicious, enjoyable dinners of my life. Small, intimate restaurant serving a focused menu that is simply delicious. & for my wife, who is Celiac (strict diet) it was so relaxing, because everything is gluten free. Period. & the service was impeccable. PS Fantastic selection of beer, too. Go. Just go.
Super expérience ! Service courtois, rapide & dévoué, & la nourriture était excellente. Nous étions 5, & personne n'a été deçu ! Les portions sont généreuses & les efforts sont mis pour accomoder au mieux les demandes. Pour le gluten, aucun plat n'en contient & le personnel est bien informé. J'ai pu manger tranquille !
Delicious food & super nice staff. Had both the beef & chicken plates. Chicken was my favorite, although beef is also really good. Bonus points, everything's gluten-free, so coeliacs come & have fun! My coeliac wife really enjoyed the place & had no reaction at all. Fully recommended🙂
