Review Summary

Koyo Sushi draws a lot of praise for fresh, well prepared sushi and a wide all you can eat buffet that combines a self serve hot bar and a variety of seafood, meat, and dessert options. The sushi and sashimi are described as fresh with generous portions, and the rolls often praised for sturdy construction and bold toppings. The service is frequently noted as friendly and attentive, with numerous mentions of quick refills and staff responsiveness, though some visits experience slower service during peak hours or crowded seating. Value is a common theme, with many finding the price reasonable for AYCE and highlighting the buffet as a strong feature; a few reviews argue the price is high for mediocre or inconsistent dishes. The atmosphere is often described as lively and family friendly, occasionally noisy or crowded, with complaints about cleanliness or temperature in certain visits. Some reviewers recall improvements after the rebranding and appreciate the mix of sushi with non sushi options like dumplings and skewers, while others feel certain menu items could be fresher or better executed. Overall, Koyo Sushi is viewed as a solid choice for sushi lovers seeking variety, decent quality, and a lively dining experience, particularly when dining during non peak times or with a plan to explore both the buffet and the menu.

The sushi aspect of this place was okay, not a lot of options during lunch time.'The hot bar' food still tastes the frozen freezer burn on the chicken.
& the soy sauce contains alcohol. Definitely would not recommend for a second visit.

I really enjoyed their sushi, it was delicious. I wish the menu was a bit more diverse, but I did go during lunch & I don't know if the dinner menu offers more options! You can order on the ipad for the sushi & meat, as well as a walk in buffet for stir fried food. One aspect I really like is the drink options that are included in the AYCE price. There's not only sodas that are included, but a normal milk tea as well as a passion fruit tea. Both were exceptional & I would highly recommend!

Great options. While you're waiting for your sushi, there's a mini buffet that you can get food from in the meantime. I enjoyed what they have. Compared to other buffets, the quality was pretty good. The sushi itself are good sizes too. The concept is great! I prefer it over the restaurant it was previous to it. Even if it gets really busy, the staff was great & gave us what we needed.

Nice food, lots of options for sushi. Even if you're not a big fan of that, there's plenty of other options like meat skewers, dumplings, buns, etc. Overall really good service, food came out relatively quickly.
