They don't even have tempura nor basic such as tofu. Maki comes as two small pieces rather than a full roll like other places. Service was poor. Go elsewhere if you want decent all you can eat sushi. At 30$ per person it's overpriced for what you get. Oh & the buffet that also included? Sure we were there around 1 pm, but the foods at the buffet were low in quantity & they didn't even bother to bring out freshly made ones. Oh dessert is extra & not included. I have never seen such a cheap practice for the price I paid.
We decided to give this restaurant a try for my birthday, we went for lunch time, it wasn't busy at all. The sushis were good overall, gotta be careful with the fried ones they really fill you up quickly. We ordered too many of these. The sashimis were excellent. The side dishes were ok though, I wasn't a fan of their peanut & butter dumplings at all. They had a section for Soup at the buffet. Nothing else as its usually open on weekend I think.
Food was excellent at lunch time, value proposition was outstanding. Great maki & fresh ingredients. Rice was seasoned pretty well & not overly pressed. Wow amazing. Temaki.. were great !
Kitchen was fantastic ,I really loved it. Lemon Grass chicken was nice.
Athmosphere was a bit.. well. it felt not abandonned but we were very few people. The section where you have kind of a buffet was empty, but you could order from the tablet.
Staff, definitely good at the job, but thats it. Maybe the fact there were sofew people was not great either.
Time to eat was set at 1h45min.
Parking is easy & in front of restaurant.
I do recommend the restaurant, this is amazing. I will certainly go for dinner.
On a mangé pour lunch, vraiment pas bon! Peu de choix dans buffet & poisson du sushi pas très frais. Je ne recommande pas!
I've been to many AYCE sushi places & this one holds up. My favourite part is a cute little buffet section included in the price for desserts, soups & wok stir frys which is very convenient (although the stir frys section was made to order instead on weekdays). Unique offerings include torched sashimi, ssamjang sauce wings, & fried calamari rings (yum). They have the standard fare, with some great hits (sushi is rlly good) but also misses which aren't too important (some of the side dishes). The place itself may feel slightly dated, but it's still pleasant to sit in. Overall, I would go again, & this place really does deserve a higher rating!
& bring cash!
Absolutely terrible experience: so many hidden fees & the service was extremely slow. They falsely advertised the amount of food in each dish on the screen which showed 3 big pieces of beef however I got 4 slivers of beef thin as paper. The'Chinese' buffet was a joke. Everything was extremely greasy to the Pad THAI(which is Thai not Chinese) to the soggy sausages that looked like fingers. Total was 110 dollars with tip included that's they add automatically for 2 people(teens I might add). Food was mediocre at best & we had so much leftover food that they just threw out because they charge an outrageous price of 1:50 per sushi to take home. Never coming back here again.
This place is amazing if you want to spend time with your family & just have good foods. Furthermore, Koyo has a wide assortment of foods that will surely fill you stomach with their buffet & all you can eat style. The service is also really great & especially the staff are really funny/friendly.
