Ce café est littéralement mon VOISIN & pourtant, je n'y étais pas encore allé. Jeudi, c'était ma première fois. J'y suis allé avec un ami qui avait l'habitude d'y arrêter pour nous prendre des cafés quand il venait chez moi mais c'était la première fois que j'y entrais, que je m'y assoyais & que j'y passais un moment. Tout en buvant un café délicieux & un brownie (formidable!) servis par un jeune homme gentil, attentif, généreux, on a eu droit à un orchestre de quatre musiciens qui a accompagné notre moment de détente. Vraiment, ce charmant café au décor éclectique mérite d'être reconnu à sa juste valeur. Je n'hésiterai pas à y retourner & à y inviter des amis. Merci, Lenon, mon ami!
Warm & cozy café in Verdun serving great, reasonably priced Japanese dishes, snacks, & drinks. The décor is slightly eclectic, with different types of seating, & the architecture lets in plenty of natural light. The café is also kid-friendly, with a dedicated play area. We ordered the Kitsune Udon, Japanese Curry Rice, & Kashiwa Mochi. All the dishes were well-balanced, & although they looked simple & homey, the flavours of each ingredient were highlighted beautifully & intentionally.

Fantastique endroit où on est servis par les proprios accueillants. Décor cozy & funky (une table balançoire!) & extrêmement'kid-friendly' avec une section parc à jeux à l'arrière où on peut savourer un café ou une bouchée japonaise en surveillant les enfants.
Petit café de quartier sympathique & lumineux. Décor un peu éclectique, mais néanmoins très agréable pour étudier. Nourriture excellente & abordable. L'espace pour les familles est un heureux bonus.
J'ai particulièrement apprécié le service soigné de l'équipe & le « Bonjour! » chaleureux en entrant. Ça fait changement du bonjour-hi ou du service monolingue en anglais!
Délicieux café sur la rue Wellington avec menu de bouchées japonaises. Magnifique décor, décontracté & proprice aux familles & enfants. Nourriture excellente tout comme les cafés & desserts!
A coworker recommended this place to me because I live so close by. I now go once a week! My coworker loves their coffee, but I go for their lovely mochi & delicious onigiri (my favourite dessert & my favourite snack!!). There's also a lot of cute merchandise to browse while there, the decor is charming & the staff very friendly too!
They really nailed the "fait maison" theme perfectly! The food tastes great, the portions not too big, it's perfect for lunch & coffee break! We felt like like we were at a japanese uncle's place with the hommey taste, the mismatched plates & the interesting decors. The service was super quick, overall we had a great time!

Café Komma Rosta sounds like a fantastic find! Delicious soup, great decor, friendly service, & a relaxing ambiance-what more could you ask for? It's definitely a gem worth visiting for a weekend chill session.
Edit: the furniture was indeed changed around, made a big difference. Avoiding the pastries with eggs!
The layout & furniture & decorations are very scattered so it's not a comfortable place to sit & enjoy & feel relaxed - the theatre seats may seem cool but they are much lower than the table we sat on. They never have enough pastry options & the taste of egg always comes through the pastries. The drinks are ok, their matcha is good! I wish they'd improve their seating & pastries.
Première fois ici aujourd'hui & tout ce que j'y ai mangé était délicieux (onigiri, udon, curry sur riz....). L'ambiance ainsi que le décors sont superbes. Mention ++ pour un service au top. J'y reviendrai (souvent) sans hésitation! C'est désormais l'un de mes nouveaux cafés favoris 😁
