My husband & I chanced upon Knuckles as we were looking for a quick lunch after a work meeting we had in the area. The innovative menu sounded so intriguing, we had to give it a go. We ended staying for a much longer time than we expected because we were so incredibly WOWED by our experience. I say experience because the owner Matthew introduced & gave us amazing stories behind every dish we ordered & helped us select a delightful glass of wine to pair. The food was amazing, & he made our afternoon such a pleasurable & unforgettable one. The kale salad was outstanding & so delicious I wished we had seconds. The green gnocchi made with spinach (not potatoes) was delicious & so soft it felt like it melted in our mouths. The orange wine from Baden, Germany was light & tart with just the right amount of fruitiness. Perfect for the meal. I really wanted to try their carbonara but I think that was only available in the evening. What a pleasure to bump into this gem of a restaurant. If you like a restauranteur that plays & innovates with flavours, while still keeping the dish simple & casual, this place is for you.Voir plus

I really enjoyed this place. The $45 Wednesday combo was incredible. The owner's stories about his grandmother were endearing. The mushrooms with blue cheese dip were VERY GOOD. The spinnach gnocci was SUPER good. The desserts were even better! I see myself returning every couple of months.Voir plus

I brought my friend for her birthday & I have to say KNUCKLES did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in you will be greeted by an epic & awesome staff. You almost feel as if you're in the comfort of your own home that's how cozy this resto is. The food is absolutely out of this world I can't describe it because you literally have to taste it for yourself!! Their selection of wines are amazing. The desserts ARE JUST OMG !! Place was so good & the chef food was so delicious that my friend & I HAD TO GO BACK the week after for brunch. This is an ABSOLUTE GEM in the city of Montreal. Great food made with love & fresh ingredients. Good selection of wines & a fun place to go on a date or with friends. I was told some of the recipes actually come from one of the guy's grandmother. Man is would have loved two grow on those recipes! I guess I'll have to go back to Knuckles instead :)Voir plus

Un des meilleurs endroits à découvrir à Montréal ! Notre expérience a été exceptionnelle, marquée par une ambiance chaleureuse & un service impeccable. Notre serveur, Cédric, s'est montré d'un grand professionnalisme, guidant notre choix de vins avec expertise & attention. La carte des vins est riche, & les suggestions étaient parfaitement adaptées aux plats que nous avions choisis. Ce qui rend ce restaurant unique, c'est son engagement envers les produits locaux : tous les ingrédients proviennent du Québec, ce qui met en avant le terroir local de manière authentique. Le menu propose une diversité de plats qui saura plaire à tous les goûts, avec une qualité indéniable dans chaque assiette. Un des incontournables est la salade Caprese, un plat alliant fraîcheur & saveurs, parfaitement exécuté & particulièrement rafraîchissant. Chaque bouchée reflète une attention aux détails qui rehausse l'expérience culinaire. En somme, cet établissement mérite amplement le détour pour une expérience gastronomique ancrée dans la qualité & le savoir-faire local. Accueil & service super sympathique. Le flétan o-fish est franchement wow. La carte de vins au verre pourrait être un peu plus longue mais elle est bien. Le jeudi, tous les verres de vin sont à 10$. Très cool.Voir plus

5 stars all around! Went there multiple times in the last few years & every time I've been impressed. Delicious & tasty food, the knuckles special is so so good. Wine pairing is also top notch, let the staff go ahead with their recommendations. Fun design in an old dépanneur, the cold fridge doors have been kept, showcasing the various wines they offer. Make sure to book in advance though as this place gets booked up fast, wouldn't suggest to just show up without reservation.Voir plus

This restaurant was unfortunately a disappointment. Pomme de terre truffle didn't deserve $24. Two crispy fries with truffles sliced so thin that you wouldn't taste any truffles, & none of the creme sure or the fry brought a flavor; no punch. tartare was ok. The highlight was the burgot dog. Wines were extremely disappointing & rather pricey. Beaujolais nouveau at $100 seems excessive. The service was nice & open to comments about the food & wine.Voir plus

I chose this restaurant for a mini reunion/girls night out & we all loved it. The atmosphere is laid back, the staff members are nice, patient & informative. The food: some excellent, some good. We didn't expect a set menu but they were able to cater to some food restrictions & it was amazing. Thursday's glass of wine special was definitely a bonus. Price point: quite reasonable! $100 approx per person including the meal, 2 glass of wine & the tip Altho it's not a huge menu , we were very curious about the other food they offered. Quel endroit fantastique que nous adorons depuis leur début il y a plusieurs années. Mat & Vincent sont toujours autant chaleureux & accueillant dans leur restaurant. Cuisine : plats à partager pour profiter d'une plus grande variété! Service: attentionné, discret mais présent malgré tout. Ambiance: petite salle qui s'est agrandie avec le temps sans pour autant perdre le cachet. Je recommande absolument,& il faut revenir car leur menu évolue au fil des saisons.Voir plus
