Went for the first time with my husband (he has been many times before). The restaurant was full, it's a good thing we reserved for 6:30 pm. By 8 pm, we only received one item & no water refills. We were hungry & the thought of leaving to go eat a burger next door crossed our minds.
The waiter started being apologetic, saying the kitchen was preparing a lot of sushi. We inquired how long he thought it would be & waited some more. We received the rest & majority of our order around 8:10 pm as we informed the waiter to bring everything now as we feared any longer wait.
We noticed others were also waiting for their orders & some costumers received their meal before us even though they arrived after us. We only ordered 3 small plates around 6:45pm. After receiving the last of our order, we asked to have the bill. My husband mentioned that the service is usually slow but this time it was discouraging.
It's a shame the service is so slow considering the food is excellent. The ambiance was enjoyable & the staff was nice & polite.
When we arrived at home, we ate slices of pizza we had ordered for our boys. We would have ordered more at Knot d'Asie but feared how long it would take to prepare our food.
Go to Knot d'Asie if you have a lot of time & are willing to wait longer than usual. Order a drink & enjoy the food!

I have dined here many times & it never disappoints! Both the drinks & the food are wonderful, & the service is always top-notch! I would recommend the bao-buns; they are my favourite!
The food was incredible, super fresh fish & amazing flavor. For the price, the portions were great! The calamari was one of the best we've ever had & we get calamari at every restaurant! Our waitress (Laurence I believe) was super friendly & attentive. The only small negative thing was that we saw our food & drinks waiting on the bar/pass for quite some time (10+ minutes) before they were brought to our table.
Enjoyed the vibe & atmosphere! The waiter was excellent! Had a drink with a flower in it which was different but with no ice & not vey cold. The food was very mediocre. The presentation was lovely but the food was missing flavour! The imperial rolls were absolutely tasteless & the pad thai was very tasteless too. No sauce & not enough spices & flavour in the rolls & pad thai.
I had a wonderful experience at this Asian restaurant. Our server, Daniel, was exceptionally professional & polite. From the moment we were seated, he made sure we were comfortable & well-attended. He was attentive to our needs, ensuring our drinks were always filled & checking in frequently to make sure we were satisfied with our meals. Daniel's dedication to providing outstanding service truly stood out. His warm demeanor & attention to detail made our dining experience enjoyable. My three friends thoroughly enjoyed their food, & the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant & welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant not just for its delicious food, but also for the exemplary service provided by Daniel. His efforts to go above & beyond made our visit memorable, & we will definitely be returning.
We were a group of 6 that had reserved for 7PM, first time experience for everyone. This place certainly has a lot to offer! Nice decor & atmosphere with meals & drinks to follow. Food is extremely tasty with superb presentation. While the only downside is the wait time in between service, I must say that our waiter was excellent nevertheless! It was busy, lots of variety on the menu, & the quality of the food received is worth the wait. Just be ready to order as soon as possible, or plan to be there longer than most restaurant. Nevertheless, despite the slow service at times, it is an experience well worth the trip!

1. Drinks were mediocre. Not tasty. 2. It took them one hour to bring one appetizer & then 15 more minutes to bring a simple dish. 3. The dish wasn't good at all. Terrible combination of ingredients & sauce. 4. The ambience was overcrowded. 5. The waiter was very nice & kind, but not knowledgeable about drinks & food. It is unacceptable for customers to drink alcohol & then wait one hour for one appetizer. & in total 1 hour 15 minutes for for a main dish (which was simple). Chef & bar mixologist need some training. Reducing number of tables would create more pleasant ambience, & ultimately less waiting time. The waiters should know more about dishes & drinks.
Excellent resto! Ca fait déjà 5 fois que j'y vais & c'est toujours très bon ! La présentation des plats est superbe! La liste des drinks est impressionnante !!! Tu peux manger autant des sushis que des plats japonnais. Point à améliorer: Les tables sont trop proches les unes des autres! Tu as l'impression de manger avec la table voisine. Des serviettes de tables en papier dans un resto de cette qualité c'est décevant. Le service varie dune fois à l'autre.
Tables trop proches. Serveurs très gentils mais trop long delai pour recevoir drink simple comme un verre de vin. Qualité poisson ok mais sashimi de thon rouge encore gelé.

We had a super nice meal out yesterday. We had never been but we are so glad we decided to go! They have specialty drinks that are in such fun displays & were very tasty. Our waiter was so polite & friendly throughout. It was a busy Friday night & he still was available whenever we needed something. The food we had was so amazing. We were concerned as we only ordered a bao bun appetizer & 3 sushi items if it would be enough between the two of us & it REALLY was. We were so full! Sushi was fresh & beautifully presented. The bao buns were excellent. We made room for their churro fried cheesecake & didn't regret it at all. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back
Une soirée improvisé pour notre première visite. Nous avons eu un excellent service & le serveur connaissait bien ses plats pour nous suggérer des plats qui allait avec nos goûts. La nourriture & les drinks étaient délicieux. Belle ambiance. Une nouvelle découverte que je vais fortement suggérer à mes amis.

I think food menu is a bit confusing & requires a bit too much explanation, may need to be reviewed
& music should be changed to more of a modern energizing lounge music, not regular radio music. It will elevate the experience

I would have given a 3 star but because the customer service was excellent, I'll give it a 4.
The food was good, fairly priced for the portions. Presentation was very nice as well.
Our order was messed up a bit but the waiter was quick to request another plate with the right combination & offered it at no charge. I was also not impressed with my half-filled cocktail glass (for $12, I expected a full small-sized martini glass). So the bartender gave me a second drink, no charge.
The place was incredibly hyped with pictures on social media so I expected the place to be much nicer than it was. That being said, it's still nice, clean, spacious, a little too much on the dim side & there was no music for ambiance (if there was, I didn't hear it).
I'd go back but in a bit, so they can properly settle in & get their menu sorted out.
