Review Summary

Kishu is widely praised for fresh, well made sushi and friendly, helpful staff who help with choices. Diners highlight standout items like the paradise roll, kamikaze, tuna bowl, sashimi platters, and the house made Yuzu drink, noting the sushi is often extremely fresh and made to order. Several reviews mention fast service and attractive presentation, with many calling it excellent or among the best sushi theyve tried. However, concerns about value appear, with portions described as small and prices high, and some notes about rice texture or balance not always meeting expectations. A few experiences report service missteps or order errors, leading to mixed feelings on certain visits. Overall, Kishu is seen as a strong sushi option with a mix of very positive impressions and some criticisms around price and consistency.

I work in the mall & end up here fairly often. For a sushi spot in a high-end mall, it's honestly pretty solid. The prices aren't really different from what you'd pay at most sushi places elsewhere, & the food has always been good when I've gone. Service has always been smooth too - I've never had any issues. Nothing over the top, but reliable & convenient if you're already in the area.

The Sushi place is in the New Royal Mount Mall in the food area, which is a fairly nice open area. The sushi was okay, but the California roll had fake crab & for the price of 5 pieces at $12, seemed very high. The Sashimi was good & the tuna was not a florescent pink, which was nice to see, however at $5.50 per piece this was quite an extravagant price for mall sushi & very moderate portion size. The Unagi Nigiri was also very expensive at $6 per piece. The staff was friendly, but I had to ask a second time for my Miso soup & was the only customer at the time. The cost is way too high & the quality not quite equal to the price point. I would not be returning due to the cost. My thoughts shared.
