My boyfriend & I visited Kinton Ramen during a day out in downtown Montreal, & it was a great experience from start to finish. We were welcomed & seated promptly, & the staff was friendly & professional throughout our visit. We chose the "Meal for 2" option, which came with two ramen bowls, two soft drinks, & an appetizer. The fries we picked were amazing-crispy, perfectly salted, & fresh. I ordered the chicken ramen with thin noodles, which was delicious. Everything tasted fresh, & even the mushrooms (which I usually skip) were enjoyable. The broth was flavorful & suited my taste, although some might prefer it a bit saltier. My boyfriend had the beef ramen (with a small supplement as mentioned on the menu) & loved it. The portions were generous, & although I took a picture after we started eating, it doesn't fully capture how well-presented the dishes were. I don't typically comment on restaurant bathrooms, but Kinton Ramen's were spotless & modern, with a nice touch-a mouthwash station for customers. My boyfriend also appreciated the men's facilities. The food was okay I've had better ramens. However the waiter that was assigned to us seemed like he just woke up early in the morning & hates his job. We ordered dinner btw. Terrible service & didn't even check on us. Another waiter that was not assigned to us checked on us & was very friendly with a smile, & even refilled my water!Voir plus
