The thali & butter chicken were nicely spiced & the yogourt sauce was out of this world ! The restaurant is beautiful & the indian music on TV was a nice plus !
Garima was very helpful. Everyone were cooperative. I don't eat garlic & onion, so I called a few local Indian restaurants to ask options. The guy on phone said they can make saag paneer without onion & garlic. Garima was the waitress there, even with many customers, she came a few times to check how we are doing, she asked me on spice level, I wanted a bit more spicy & she brought chillies, I asked to fry green chillies & give me with some salt. She brought exactly how I wanted. Excellent service & food! The restaurant looks good, too, nicely decorated lights etc. We took some pics. We will go back very often. Oh & also, we didn't know but she said 50% off at the beginning & applied it at the end.
Very disappointed with this restaurant.
The moment you walk in, you're hit with a noticeable moldy smell. Then, when you scan the QR code to view the menu, you're bombarded with ads, making it feel like they're trying to monetize customers before you've even ordered.
The food didn't make up for it. The naan was burnt to the point that the bitter taste overpowered the entire meal. It was difficult to enjoy anything else on the plate.
To top it off, there was a group practicing their singing over a loudspeaker while we were trying to eat, making the dining experience even less enjoyable. The plastic plates & cheap utensils only reinforced the lack of quality.
Overall, this was the worst Indian restaurant I've been to, & I wouldn't recommend it.
Easily the worst Indian restaurant I've ever been to.
The food was ridiculously overpriced for the quality, & it tasted awful. I ended up with a stomach ache almost immediately after eating. Definitely not worth the money.
The service made the experience even worse. Our server was completely unprofessional, inattentive, & seemed confused throughout the entire meal.
To top it all off, there was a random woman upstairs loudly practicing her singing while we were trying to eat. It completely ruined the atmosphere.
Terrible food, terrible service, & a bizarre dining experience. I won't be coming back, & I can't recommend this place to anyone.
Amazing restaurant with truly authentic Indian flavors! This is, without a doubt, the best Indian food I've had in Montreal. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, & cooked to perfection.
One of the best parts is that it's a bring-your-own-alcohol (BYOB) restaurant, which makes it an excellent place to enjoy a meal with friends & family.
I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, Butter Chicken, Shrimp Biryani, & Soya Chaap Kadai. Honestly, it's hard to go wrong-everything on the menu is delicious!
If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine with great quality & a welcoming atmosphere, this place is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

Loved my experience at Khao Peeyo! The food is super flavorful & fresh, especially the butter chicken & naan. Great atmosphere & friendly staff - definitely one of the best spots for Indian food in Montreal. Highly recommend!
