Very bad experience at Khan Jee Restaurant. I ordered Shinwari Mutton Karahi & paid $45. I drove about 25 minutes to the restaurant to pick up the order & another 25 minutes back home.
When I opened the meal at home, I immediately noticed it was chicken Karahi instead of mutton. The meat pieces clearly look like chicken, not mutton. I paid for mutton but received a completely different dish.
I contacted the owner, Ali, & asked for a refund through e-transfer because the order was wrong. He refused to refund the money & did not offer any solution. When I said I would share my experience on Google, he started speaking very rudely & used abusive language.
This is very unprofessional behavior. Charging customers for mutton & serving chicken is unacceptable. I am sharing photos so others can see what was actually served.
The buffet karahi was absolutely delicious & full of authentic flavor. The chicken was tender & perfectly cooked with rich spices. Overall, a great buffet experience with fresh & tasty karahi.

The chicken karahi was absolutely delicious & full of authentic flavor. The chicken was tender, & the rich, spicy gravy tasted fresh & perfectly cooked. Great quality food that truly felt like a traditional homemade karahi experience.
I ordered food from here couple of times before it was hit & miss, this last time i ordered here for pickup it was pathetic experience . There was whole big chicken pieces in karahi some had even skin on it. Its like chef threw chicken in ready-made sauce & boiled it. That was not even the bad part untill i opened the Naan.they were literally burnt i mean they could see it while packing the food that its burnt & still decided to give it to a customer shows how they treat customers. Had to throw away the naans & most of the Karahi it self. Awful experience
bunch of times . Not recommending to any one again!
I came here with my friends & it was my first time I tried Pakistani food & I ordered beef behari boti & mutton karahi & the big khandhari naan I love the food I will definitely came back

?If you're searching for truly authentic Peshawari & Pakistani cuisine, look no further. This restaurant isn't just serving food; it's delivering a masterpiece of traditional flavor, & the culinary genius behind it is none other than Chef Ali.
?The stars of the show are undeniably the Karahis. Prepared in the traditional style, the Charsi Karahi is rich & deeply flavorful, while the Shinwari Karahi is a testament to perfect simplicity, letting the quality of the ingredients shine through. Chef Ali's expertise is evident in every bite-the meat is tender, the spices are perfectly balanced, & the authenticity is simply unmatched.
?But the excellence doesn't stop there. The BBQ items are phenomenal. Every piece is grilled to perfection, smokey & juicy. The Beef Bihari is a tender, savory standout, & the Lamb Chops are absolute proof that simplicity done right is unbeatable. They are undoubtedly among the top items on the menu.
?After indulging in such a meat-heavy feast, the perfect ending is the chai. It's more than just tea; it's an amazing, comforting digestif-a creamy, warm hug that is potent enough to settle your stomach & officially induce the promised food coma.
?From the unforgettable karahis to the perfectly charred meats & the essential post-meal chai, this restaurant offers a complete, soul-satisfying dining experience. Five stars!
We ordered Chicken charsi karahi ;nihari naan beef seek kebab'chiken biryani .chicken karahi nihari was excellent .naan were best in whole Montreal.chiken biryani & seek kebab was average.waitress anu was also very amazing .
Great food & service came here after a day out at Mont Tremblant up north on Sunday evening & everything was amazing. I'm from GTA & know good Pakistani food in Canada but this restaurant definitely did not disappoint in Montreal. One of the best if not the best Pakistani cuisine in Greater Montreal. Ordered a full karahi chicken with 4 naans big ones came with family so also ordered a beef Bihari plate that came with brown rice karahi was $34 full very resonable with plate at $18 & naan was $10 & drinks were also $10 with tip & taxes everything under $85 for 3. Very tasty & yummy food at a reasonable price much more reasonable than some restaurants in GTA in fact . So highly recommended to anyone visiting Montreal needing halal options for dining. & top it all off free parking
