We had the Chicken Peshawri Karahi. It was very salty but the taste was great. Their green salad was extremely small for the price. It was perfect for 2 people. Would like to try something else from them but alot less salt.
Restaurant KhanJee is a culinary treasure. Their chapli kebabs are crispy on the outside & juicy inside, packed with spices. The dal fry is simple but heavenly. They also offer a great lunch special that doesn't break the bank. Highly satisfied!
Love the consistency at KhanJee Restaurant. Whether dine-in or takeout, the food is always flavorful & hot. Their chicken handi & jeera rice pair beautifully. The staff remembers repeat customers & makes recommendations. Feels like a second home.
If you haven't tried KhanJee's haleem, you're missing out. Slow-cooked with lentils & meat, topped with ginger & fried onions - pure comfort. The bread basket is fresh & varied. Service is warm & efficient. This place deserves all the praise.
Restaurant KhanJee feels like a celebration of Pakistani culture. The wall art, music, & even the ceramic plates add to the charm. The food - especially the achari gosht & raita - is top-notch. Clean, vibrant, & delicious. Can't wait to return.

I'm picky about Pakistani food, but KhanJee won me over. Their saag gosht (lamb with mustard greens) is authentic & earthy. The makki ki roti was freshly made. The owner takes real pride in the food. This is the real deal - no shortcuts.
KhanJee Restaurant's lunch combos are unbeatable. For under $10, you get a main dish, rice, naan, & drink. The chicken qorma & bhindi masala are my favorites. Fast, friendly, & filling. Perfect for office workers or students on a budget.
The food was acceptable but Mint margaritas were pathetic, when told the waitress about the rather fixing the drink she replied I'll tell the chef. one expects little empathy when you are paying $292 for a lunch. *Very unprofessional behavior*
Absolutely loved the authentic flavors at KhanJee Restaurant! The biryani was perfectly spiced, & the kebabs were tender & juicy. Every dish tasted like homemade Pakistani comfort food. The staff was incredibly welcoming & attentive. I'm already planning my next visit!

Based on my personal experience, The food is extremely overpriced & the quality is very poor. They are selling small frozen parathas (not fresh) for $5 each (pic attached for reference, it's a small 6' fozren paratha, not even a fresh one), chickpeas for $16 (which typically cost around $5 elsewhere), & halwa puri for $15 with tax that you can find for about $7 at other places.
On top of that, the hygiene standards are concerning.
This place seriously needs inspection from the Quebec food authorities for overcharging & poor standards. Definitely not recommended.
Today in the afternoon we ordered chicken Biryani, shrimp chowmin & khanji special tea for take out. Both dishes were disgusting, only tea was delicious. In chowmin it's just the soya sauce & cabbage & they added just 5 shrimps, Biryani chicken was stale. I am thinking how people rated this place so high. We were visiting from Toronto & by looking their rating & reviews we went there.we are very disappointed.
The food is A plus, the quantity of the servings is good, the taste of the food has not changed since I first went there.
The Proprietor is a wonderful person.
Keep it up
