Kem CoBa (in Vietnamese it means "third auntie's ice cream", nickname given to co-owner Ngoc by her niece) offers fresh ice cream and sorbet prepared with premium quality ingredients, with no preservatives nor artificial flavours. You'll also find homemade soft ice cream, with featured flavours that change based on the 2 chefs' mood and creative escapades. How about coconut-mango or strawberry cheesecake? You can also buy pastries that complement ice cream and sorbet. But this time, they're Ngoc's own little creations (baked on site). Now we're talking about shortbread, brownies, almond tiles, butter cakes, canelés, sponge cakes, etc. And a little (sweet) Asian touch is what makes them so special...

Really love the Asian-inspired flavours offered at this place. I found the flavours were very unique & not commonly found in any other ice cream shops I've been to. We had a double scoop of pandan & salted butter. We really loved the pandan ice cream, the flavour was really strong & true to what pandan tastes like!! I also have never seen pandan offered anywhere else. Definitely recommend this place.View more

This is the best ice cream store in montreal. It combines extremely high quality ice cream (rich, creamy, great texture) with incredibly creative flavours. The salted butter & 72% chocolate go together extremely well. But the matcha & pandan leaf (if they have them) are the stars of the show. Both bring an earthyness that contrasts beautifully to their sweetness. If you want good ice cream bring cash & get ready for a line, but it'll be worth it.View more

I love this place, they make lots of unique flavours & many are geared towards Asian flavours, such as pandan & soursop. The gelatos & sorbets are well made & have a rich but not overly sweet taste. My favourites are pandan & mango sorbet. Please note that they're only open during the summer months (closes in September) & only take cash. The line was intimidating but moved rather fast. They have an immaculate service system to help process people through. I had the soursop sorbet (acidic & fermented taste) & the pandan leaf (floral vanilla notes) ice cream & my mom got the salted butter & dulce de leche ice cream. I like that there is a balance of more approachable flavors & some more exotic ones!View more

One of the best ice creams in mtl! Delicious, creamy & rich but not heavy Idk how they do it but it's great! So many flavours to choose from & they have new flavours weekly. I personally loved the pandan! Long lineup but it goes by quickly. Cash only. Def recommend if you're around the area!View more
