Service was friendly, fast & efficient. We got the chicken pakora for starters & the lamb karahi & naan (2 garlic & 2 plain) as the main dish. Both dishes were served piping hot & were very tasty. I wished the naan could have been a little softer but maybe that's the way they make it. Both naans were filling & large in portion. The Karahi was easily shared between the two of us & we took away one portion that was leftover as well. We also took away about 4 pieces of naan with us so one can imagine that they were huge. We spent about 85 dollars all together so it does add up quickly. But we would visit again!
I just came back from Karahi in Brossard & had one of the most disappointing meals I've had in a long time. The food quality was really poor. The chicken tasted sour & old, like it had been sitting for a while. We ordered naan expecting it to be fresh, but they served us frozen naan, which was hard & chewy. Even the paneer was unnecessarily sweet, which makes me think they don't really understand what proper Indian food should taste like.
Overall, the experience was not worth it. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for authentic or fresh Indian food.
Visited this restaurant recently. The service was truly excellent - very polite & attentive. One of the staff members, I think their name was Sarab from Mumbai, India, took great care of us. The food itself was just okay, & the prices felt a bit too high for the taste & overall quality. The naan was made in an electric tandoor instead of an authentic charcoal one, which affected the flavor. Fantastic service, but the food quality & pricing could be improved.
The food was excellent & service was impeccable. The decor & ambience were nice.
We were a group of 3 & got Nahari, Butter Chicken & Karahi Chicken Boneless with 3 portions of butter naan on the side. The meat in all the dishes was cooked perfectly. In all, it cost 99$ with tax & tip.
If you don't like cilantro or coriander, I wouldn't recommend the Nahari or Karahi Chicken as there is a lot of it in the sauce. There is a wide variety of items on the menu & we will be back again to try some more.
One of The best food I ever had in Canada.
We ordered garlic naan , Karani chicken, & chicken biryani.
Karahi chicken & naan were delicious. In future whenever I will plan to visit Montreal this restaurant is on top list.
Quality & quantity well served 🥰
I consistently have an excellent experience at this restaurant. The food is flavorful, authentic, & always served fresh, Sarab the manager, always welcomes guests with a warm smile & provides outstanding service. She is knowledgeable, attentive, & ensures every visit is enjoyable. I highly recommend the Karahi Chicken, Garlic Naan/Plain Naan, & Biryani …Butter Chicken ! Each dish is prepared to perfection. & be sure to try the dessert, it's always delicious, A truly wonderful dining experience every time.
I did dinner with my friend & i tried boneless chicken with naan it was amazing & the service of veerpal kaur👍
Ordered Uber Eats. The Karahi Paneer was too greasy, & taste was too sour, likely made with just an overcooked spice gravy overloaded with tomato paste etc. Gave both me & my wife a heartburn. The naan was dry & too chewy. Too pricey in my opinion.
We have been driving past this restaurant for some time until my curiosity got the best of me. My kids & I tried it & we were blown away. The food is really delicious, spicy(option for mild), the staff & service are great. It has become our favorite restaurant. We go too often now. Our favorite foods are the butter chicken, kahari chicken, white kahari chicken, garlic naan bread, plain rice, beef & chicken kababs!! Vibrant in colors, presentation, quantity & taste! & it is halal too! During Ramadan, they offer a buffet as well! No regrets!
Tried Karahi Point for the first time & loved it! The goat karahi was incredibly flavorful, & the naan was warm & fresh. Everything tasted authentic & well-seasoned. The staff were super friendly & made great recommendations. The restaurant has a clean, modern vibe - perfect for a relaxed dinner. Portions were generous & worth the price. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!
after driving from Ottawa, we were hungry & looking for Pakistani food for an authentic home style taste.
We were pleasantly surprised & delighted to eat at Karahi point. Btwn the channa, aloo gobi, chicken Karahi, roti & naan - everything tasted fantastic.
I would 100% go back with friends for Karahi & lunch.
The food was good but service was mediocre they didn't serve us rice or naan with Karahi & we had to wait for a long time for naan.
If you are looking for a halal traditional Pakistani restaurant with excellent Karahi, freshly baked naan & BBQ kebab, this is the place for you!!!
I was recommended this restaurant by a friend so myself & my family we decided to try it out.
We were warmly welcomed & seated. The owner came to our table & took his time to explain the menu, & suggest some of the restaurant's specialty. We decided to trust him & we ordered 2 types of Karahi (Karahi is their specialty), the chicken byriani, the chicken Seekh kebab, the chicken butter, their Naan breads (with garlic, plain, butter), the chicken Samosas, & some other food.
IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! We were all amazed by the taste, blend of spices & flavors. We were stuffed after sharing all the food between 8 adults. Before leaving, we decided to have their traditional tea called tea Karak & it was delicious 😋
We didn't have any space left for the dessert but they also have plenty of delicious sweets.
The decoration inside is very nice & the place clean. Overall we had a blast & we really enjoyed everything. Even though most of their food has some spice, it is part of the culture & you can ask to reduce the spiciness or ask them to suggest another dish with no spice.
Based on that, I highly recommend this gem 💎 located in Brossard. This is the best Pakistani restaurant in Montreal. You have to try it!!!
See also my photos & videos, you will be hungry ahahaha 😆
ps: can't wait to go again & maybe this time be able to visit their kitchen & show you how they prepare their amazing food 10/10 😋
Update 26Apr2025: still a great place to eat Karahi. Highly recommend 👌
A Flavor-Packed Experience at Karahi Point Montreal - A Must-Visit Spot!
I recently visited Karahi Point Montreal, & I'm still thinking about the food - it was that good. If you're looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine with bold flavours & comforting vibes, this place absolutely delivers.
We kicked things off with their Lahore fish & Chicken Pakora followed with their Garlic & Roghni naan's , which came out hot, fluffy, & full of that irresistible aroma - the perfect start. It paired beautifully with their Chicken Karahi, which was rich, spicy, & cooked to perfection. You can tell it's made fresh in the traditional wok style - the flavors were deep & layered, just the way a real karahi should be.
But what really impressed me was their Tawa Qeema & their BBQ - especially the chicken malai hoti & seekh kebabs. Smoky, juicy, & packed with spices, every bite was a treat. The BBQ platter is a must if you're into that chargrilled, straight-off-the-grill flavor.
To finish things off, we tried their Mali Kulfi, which was creamy, dense, & full of that classic cardamom-nutty sweetness. & of course, no meal there is complete without their Karak Chai - rich, strong, & perfectly spiced. It was the ideal end to a fantastic meal.
The service was warm & attentive, & the atmosphere felt cozy & inviting. Whether you're craving homestyle karahi or just want to chill with friends over some great chai & BBQ, Karahi Point Montreal is a spot you'll want to come back to.
Can't wait for my next visit!
Well.... This was unexpected. I knew it was going to be good, but not this good!! I had the Reshmi Handi with rice & Naan & it was exquisite. An off topic comment was made that it was my birthday & they heard & gave us some delicious ice cream.
The service at this place is next to none & the food is delicious.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone. Oh & there is ample parking.
Update 1.5 years later: Everything said above but even better.
Chicken karahi, naan & byriani were good. Not too impressed with the nihari. Found it a bit bland.
W
EDIT: Went for their Iftaar buffet. Each & every dish was super tasty & fresh. Highly recommended iftar buffet for ramadan 🌙👌🏻 Best part was they had unlimited chai included in the buffet ☕?
Good ambience . Karahi was authentic pakistani karahi! Love it . Perfect spices. Tikka biryani was good too, not very spicy though. Gulab jamun were fresh 😁 staff was cooperative & Ranjeet was very sweet specifically . Definitely recommended!
Garlic Naan were very fluffy yet tasty! 🫓
We went to Karahi Point for the second time, & once again, it didn't disappoint! The first time, we tried their Seekh kebab & BBQ, but knowing how rich & authentic their Pakistani flavors are, we had to come back & explore more of the menu. This time, we ordered Charsi Karahi White Handi Beef Bihari kebab Seekh kebab Nihari Chicken Boneless Tikka Chicken Tikka with Butter Naan The portions were generous,& everything arrived fresh & piping hot. The chicken was tender & juicy, with just the right balance of spices not too oily or overpowering. Every dish was bursting with authentic Pakistani flavours. The service was great too! The staff kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, & Brother Aslam, the owner, was incredibly welcoming. Overall, we had an amazing experience & are so glad we don't have to travel all the way to Mississauga for quality desi food. If you're in Montreal & craving authentic Pakistani flavors, Karahi Point is the place to go!
