Overall, Kamé draws praise for fresh, creative poke bowls, a diverse cocktail list, and a warm, Hawaiian-inspired atmosphere with attentive service when it shines, plus a divine bubble tea and a refreshing house beer that complements the meals. The bowls are frequently described as tasty and satisfying, with the vegetarian mushroom option singled out as especially good and portions often viewed as good value for the price, making it a solid quick lunch, though some reviews note that portions can feel small or sauces can add to the cost. There are notes of dependable freshness and color in the bowls, and the overall dining experience is enhanced by prompt service in many visits. However, service inconsistencies and dietary mishaps appear in some cases, including a gluten-free request mishandled and not reimbursed, and a perception of younger staff not fully addressing the issue. A seating issue near a rat trap is also mentioned by one reviewer, reminding that experiences can vary. In sum, Kamé delivers flavorful, visually appealing fare and generally quick service, with caveats about consistency and accommodations for special diets.

They make really great poke bowls here! The serving sizes are great for the price & will definitely fill you up, it's a great place to grab a quick lunch or you can stay in the food court to enjoy it if you prefer.
My husband & I stopped by this foodcourt for a snack after a long walk. I have celiac disease, so I know it is always a risk to try a new restaurant, however what happened here was definitely unprecedented. I asked the server if I could have my meal gluten free. She helpfully said yes, we will just remove ingredients from your meal. Generally, poke bowl is pretty safe for me to eat as long as soy is not added. This team of two people seemed to know the drill. Somehow, between the time it took for me to order my food & for the cook to make it (approximately 2 minutes), they'forgot' & doused my rice in soy sauce despite it being'so simple' to fix it gluten free. My husband & I were the only customers in line, there was no rush, & I don't believe we were rude in any way. In short, the error was verging on intentional given the circumstances.
By the time I noticed the soy sauce, I had already eaten a handful of the meal & it was too late to undo this mistake. They did not reimburse us, instead opting to make another bowl, this time correctly, as if this would somehow fix the original problem. The server & cook were obviously teenagers, so it seemed petty for me to make any kind of complaint or persist in asking for a reimbursement. They could barely tear themselves away from their cellphones when we approached the counter. I don't think they would understand the gravity of their error given their obvious immaturity. I will now be sick for two weeks, despite being reassured that this would not happen. If there was an adult working there, I might have had a discussion with them, but I suspect an adult would also have cared enough to prevent this kind of problem in the first place. I would not recommend anyone with special dietary needs to try this spot because you cannot trust that they will prepare the food correctly. Also, there was a giant rat trap next to where we ended up sitting. Icing on the cake.
