June is the story of four friends who wanted to bring everyone together in one place, to share, discuss, laugh, and confide. A bit like a village tavern, like the ones we grew up with in Provence. We wanted to bring out that little touch of craziness that we all have, mix cultures like Montreal teaches us to do, mix ages and differences, and above all, show great conviviality in a place that reflects us.
So, come to June to enjoy a good glass of wine selected by our sommelier accompanied by appetizers or a good seasonal dish crafted by our chef and his team of enthusiasts.June is an unpretentious place where we welcome you in the same way you would welcome us into your home; with honesty, simplicity, and a cheeky little glass of wine in hand.
Reviews describe June Buvette as a cozy intimate spot with a warm attentive staff and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that suits date nights or gatherings with friends. The wine list and cocktails receive frequent praise for creativity and solid pairings with a menu that ranges from crispy calamari in a flavorful sauce to duck with red wine sauce, scallops, beef tartare with pistachios and smoked oyster mayo, and well executed pastas and seafood dishes. Guests highlight high quality ingredients, careful plating and tasty breads or focaccia, with some dishes standing out as exceptional while others feel under seasoned, cold or overcooked in less consistent visits. Service is praised as friendly and knowledgeable when not slowed by crowds, and private or group events are described as well organized with attentive staff. Overall June Buvette is regarded as a solid warm neighborhood gem with a strong wine program, creative drinks and a vibe that many would return for despite occasional service delays or menu items that miss the mark.
The wine, the music, the ambiance... What a great night. Special thanks to Olivier for the great wine recommendations & Judith for the awesome service!
Nice place to have a drink with an interesting & varied wine selection but the food is terribly disappointing. The fried eggplants are bland & under seasoned, the pasta was undercooked & tasteless.

10/10 place. Stopped in for drinks before other dinner reservations to check out the spot & will absolutely be back. We grabbed some sourdough bread & the mortadella tartine to check out the food (note, lots of bread) but we were blown away. The brown sugar butter served with their house made sourdough was mind blowing. Not sure what they included on the mortadella tartine but it was insane. Highly recommend both dishes (although maybe not together since it's a ton of sourdough). Drinks were great, although my husband was disappointed to see the beer had been removed from the menu (there's a photo floating around on here with a few bottled option). Would be nice to bring those back as options just for the men we like to drag around to check out these awesome places, but by no means is it a criticism (esp. since it's a wine bar). Ambiance was wonderful & the lighting is so perfectly moody & cozy. Their interior designer knew what they were doing. Will be back for a proper meal, since the rest of the menu looked incredible. Highly recommend.
This is a really charming bistro in Pointe St Charles. Our waiter was fantastic. We ordered sourdough bread (amazing with brown butter), lobster mac & cheese & lamb shoulder. For dessert we had the chocolate tart. We ordered orange wine & a pineapple mocktail for drinks. The food, atmosphere & service all combined made for a great night out. I'd highly recommend this place!
Excellent food & ambiance. The waiter was kind but became very stressed towards the end (we were there less than 2h) & we were pressured ++ to finish. Also, for a buvette, wine selection by the glass not impressive. Waiter could use more knowledge of wines available.
Great little neighborhood bistro in the PSC. Nice decor. Staff was super friendly, we had a great time just chatting with them, as it wasn't very busy when we arrived, it was early & the place filled up later. The wine list is awesome, we weren't sure what to go for but our waiter helped out immensely. We tried a few plates to share. Those scallop pogos were really good. We also enjoyed the smoked beet salad, kale Caesar salad. The tartare was really surprising, it's served on a cold rosti, & the pickles mixed inside reminds you of eating at McDonald's 🤣 it's weird at first but totally grows on you. They probably had just as much fun coming up with this menu as we did eating it. Just a great place for a night out with friends or for a date.
10/10, absolutely lovely experience. My group was two more than anticipated & the restaurant accommodated beautifully. The wine, the drinks, the FOOD- incroyable, so much better than anticipated.

Food was delicious but not trying too hard to be pretentious. Wine & cocktails were delicious. Service was warm & attentive. Alex was fantastic. Thanks we'll be back!
Average food, good wine & service, excellent vibe!
Reserved for 4 people, but all the tables are for 2. The tables & chairs are stuck to the floor, so I wasn’t able to hear my friends that were sitting at the table next to me because they were too far away. Wouldn’t reserve for a group of 2+ again.
June Buvette is a recently opened restaurant wine bar in Pointe-Saint-Charles that instantly has that charming effect the moment you walk-in. There is an extensive wine list for all palates & a diverse creative menu that is perfect for your next 5 a 7.
Where to start! PSC was definitely missing this, from the decor, the food (the scallop pogos are a MUST) to the wine list, everything was amazing!! Oh & the staff was sooo friendly
