I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
The customer service was very poor. The staff was not welcoming or helpful, which made the overall experience disappointing.
I also noticed a pricing issue. The price advertised did not match the amount on the final invoice, which was frustrating & should be made more transparent to customers.
Another concern was the dining experience. I was informed that after the chef leaves in the afternoon, there is no chef on site. The meals served during that time are primarily reheated or prepared from pre-cooked items. In my opinion, this does not meet the expectations for freshly prepared dine-in food, especially considering the prices being charged.
Overall, the combination of poor customer service, inconsistent pricing, & the quality of the food did not provide good value. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the customer experience.
My family & I have been coming here for years. We recently ordered kozhukattais for an event, & they exceeded our expectations. They were neatly made, delicious, & clearly prepared with care. Definitely worth it & highly recommend.
Absolutely ridiculous & disappointing. My family & I came all the way from Toronto & decided to come to this restaurant. All of us were hungry to have dinner that we mistakenly ordered 2 kotthu rotis, 2 appitizers (chilli chicken & chicken 65), & chicken noodles along with chicken puttu. As soon as we all had one bite from the appetizers, we knew we made a huge mistake. Right then & there we lost our appetite. For the chilli chicken, all the did was put hot sauce all over, & the chicken 65 was entirely bone. The kothu rotis, noddles, & puttu did not have any taste whatsoever. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I am Sri Lankan, so I know the true cuisine & authenticity of Sri Lankan food. This restaurant started off pretty good,I used to be a regular here. However, over time, the quality has gone downhill. The side dishes at the entrance are often cold & lacking flavor. Dining in was an alright experience overall, but not what it used to be.
If you come here, I would recommend sticking to the vegetarian options. The famous chicken & mutton kottu often have a burnt taste, almost as if they are constantly reheated on the grill, & they lack the rich flavor you would expect. I would also suggest avoiding the Indian dishes like butter chicken, biryani, or similar items, as they are disappointing as well.
Sri Lankan food is known for its unique spices & the authenticity in every bite, which is why this experience was quite disappointing for me
If you like flavor, spice, & good portion sizes for the price, this is the place for you!
Came here with my family of 5 near closing, & still got the most hospitable, personalized service. Food was fresh, warm, & so tasty. They took their time with our orders, snd the girl at the front was also super friendly. Food was a 10/10 from all of us. Establishment was very clean.
Plus, their entrees, mains, desserts, & the mango lassis are all delicious. We had mutton rolls, vegetarian thali, shrimp curry, beef kothu, a few lassis, & even ordered seconds of our mains for takeouts.
Our total bill was much lower than we expected, so I'd 100% recommend coming here if you are on a budget or want some leftovers.
Restaurant Jolee catered my union's organizer training & everyone was so pleased. The food was packed with flavour, & everyone left extremely full & happy. Everything was very reasonably priced as well. They were very communicative, accommodating, & flexible. I would highly recommend Jolee for any catering & I hope to eat in the restaurant soon!
