John Michael's Pub apparaît comme un endroit fiable et chaleureux à Montréal, avec une ambiance pub classique, beaucoup de places assises et des écrans, et un service amical et efficace même en période de forte affluence; les convives louent des plats consistants comme la poutine, le fish and chips, les burgers et le Philly cheesesteak, ainsi que des boissons solides et des portions généreuses, bien que les prix soient parfois jugés élevés et que certains évoquent des ratés occasionnels dans le service ou le choix musical; dans l’ensemble, il s’agit d’un endroit décontracté et agréable pour manger, boire et suivre des sports, avec une atmosphère conviviale qui donne envie de revenir.
Good vibes in this place. We were looking for a place to watch the NBA finals & have a beer. This place worked great. The beer was a bit expensive ($12 for a draught), but it's in the old city/tourist area, so that's what we get.
We were welcomed warmly & the atmosphere was perfect. We received our cocktails & I was thinking to give 5 stars. Unfortunately our burgers were at burger king level not a pub. The fries were the worse I had ever tasted . I think I won't try here again.
Ma terrasse préférée dans le Vieux Montréal. Les plats sont beaux & bons ! Meilleurs natchos du Québec!!! Notre serveur était sympathique & attentionné.

It was just OK. Since there are so many great places to eat in Montreal, many within a block or two of this place, the question is why eat here The food was just OK.. Service was good. The restrooms are a challenge.
We went as a group of 7 with no reservation around 1pm. Food was okay. But the French onion soup was so peppery it couldn't be eaten we had to send it back. So don't order the French onion soup here. The smoked meat poutine was tasty as were the sandwiches. Bathroom was very dirty
We were thrilled to have found this spot! Service was fast & they had American football on TV. All the food looked delicious! Our son had a burger & gobbled it up!

We found this wonderful little pub on our last trip to Montreal. A big thank you to the manager Nadine & her staff for taking such good care of us on our multiple visits on this trip. Love their French onion soup & poutine!
The waiter was hard-working & doing a lot around the restaurant but he wasn't very friendly. We didn't even get food because the drinks were terrible, my little brother was sick for 2 days from their sex on the beach, it was super sugary & didn't even look or taste like the right drink. We used the restrooms on our way out & they were disgusting, there was barely room to sit in the women's room & in the men's my dad said there was a broken urinal with a trash bag over it. This is the worst place we went in Montreal. Save your time & money & don't go here.
Personnel très aimable, bonnes bières, mais temps d'attente beaucoup trop long. 1h05 en cuisine pour sortir 5 burgers (quelconques), une poutine & un fish & chips. N'y allez pas si vous êtes plus que 6.
