There is definitely a cool sports bar kind of vibe & an enjoyable atmosphere. The food coming out looked decent but my fish & chips were really bad. Mashed cod in a rubbery corn dog batter (seen in photo). Like…why? My wife had the classic poutine & said it was ok. Our server was friendly but we only saw her once. I don't think it was bad enough for 2 stars but barely good enough for 3. They should just take the fish off the menu. The burgers looked good & so did the nachos. Too many other choices to return but if you want classic pub food, it's decent I guess.
John Michael's Pub was amazing! We're here on a winter pilgrimage with our youth group & had some free time to grab lunch & explore the area. We stumbled upon this local gem & couldn't have been happier.
Our server, Guillermo (Guillaume in French - forgive me if I misspelled it!), was absolutely wonderful. His service was impeccable-kind, attentive, & welcoming.
The food was delicious 😋 We ordered the fish & chips, a burger, & a chicken sandwich-everything was excellent. I also enjoyed a local IPA, & my husband had an alcohol-free beer.
Thank you for such a great experience. We all truly enjoyed it & definitely recommend stopping by!
They were gracious enough to put the game on for me on all TVs. The fish n chips was excellent as well as the burger. Take the time & stop by while I'm Montreal.
My daughter is very picky & she loved the burger here. Husband ordered the fire burger & he said it wasn't very spicy; but he eats ghost peppers for breakfast. Great experience, friendly service!
The staff is absolutely nice. The guy who served us was really helpful & nice. We asked for nachos but they weren't that good compared with the price, but for the main dish we asked for Philly cheese & John Michael's Burger & they were amazing!! Big portions.
