Honestly, I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I ordered Farali Khichdi & only found out after eating it that they use regular table salt instead of rock salt.
I specifically asked for some extra rock salt, & that's when they told me they don't even have rock salt & use regular salt in their Farali dishes. This is very misleading, especially since Farali food is generally expected to be prepared with rock salt.
Customers should be informed about this upfront, particularly those ordering Farali food for religious or dietary reasons. Very disappointing experience.

We went here for dinner as a party of 5, expecting a decent Indian vegetarian meal. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing.
The prices are equivalent to fine dining, but the food is served in basic containers &, in my opinion, does not justify the pricing. The food itself was just okay, but the biggest concern was hygiene, cleanliness, & the way food & other items were being handled by the staff. This is something that really needs attention &, in my opinion, should be inspected by the appropriate food safety authorities to ensure proper hygiene & cleanliness standards are being maintained.
It felt much more like a money oriented business than a place focused on providing customers with a good dining experience & quality food.
I would not visit again, & I would strongly recommend that people not choose this restaurant simply because they are looking for Indian vegetarian food. There are better options where you can get good food along with a much cleaner & more pleasant experience.
I called ahead to place a pickup order, but the staff member hung up on me mid-conversation right after I told them my order. Because of this, we had to go in person to dine in.
We ordered 4 Butter Vadapavs & 1 Bhaji Pav Butter (Total: $40.19). When the food arrived, the vadapavs were served cold. Shortly after, the pav bhaji arrived & was completely cold as well. When we complained to the staff about the food temperature, they gave us a bizarre excuse-saying they only prepared it to show on their security cameras rather than actually serving it hot!
To make matters worse, the taste was terrible compared to our previous visit. Complete waste of money & awful customer service. Avoid this place!
The food was below average, but the hygiene & cleanliness were the biggest reasons I would never come back.
There was no soap or toilet paper in the women's washroom. We notified the staff & specifically asked for these supplies to be refilled. We were told someone would come, but no one ever came, & the bathroom supplies were still not replenished by the time we left.
The dining area was also very poorly maintained. The tables were not clean at all, & I actually saw customers taking paper napkins & cleaning the tables themselves.
There was an area right in front of the dining tables for dirty dishes & garbage. Nobody was clearing it, so it became completely piled up, with things falling out. This was literally in front of us while we were trying to eat. It was extremely unpleasant & disgusting to look at.
& on top of all of this, the prices are ridiculous for what you get. We spent more than $100 for food that was, at best, below average, while almost everything was self-service. For that price, I would expect significantly better food, cleanliness, service, & overall experience.
Overall, I found the hygiene standards unacceptable for a food establishment. This place badly needs to improve its cleaning & sanitation practices, & honestly, I feel it needs a proper food & hygiene inspection.
After spending over $100 & experiencing this level of cleanliness & service, I left extremely disappointed. I'm now just hoping that my family & I don't get sick after eating here.
Definitely not a place I would recommend or return to.
I can list all the positives about this restaurant from it's exceptional food to its welcoming atmosphere, but one thing that STANDS OUT among all is Jhanvi, who runs the show like a queen, always smiling always helpful & always giving us a reason to go back to JB Vadapav.
As a non vegetarian who rarely ate vegetarian food & who almost always didn't enjoy it, this place made me change my taste in food & made me appreciate vegetarian options & be willing to explore more of the Indian cuisine. As a business, they got everything right, cozy atmosphere, great food & good service. I definitely recommend it...

The person at the front register was very sweet & kind. Helped us right away & had given us a good service. The food was great & had the best indian spice tastes. Would definitely recommend going to this place.
I ordered the paneer tikka & roti- the curry was extremely disappointing & it really look like they've just added Paneer Tikka pieces in a different curry-it was so oily that I could barely eat it. The service was also frustrating, with an unnecessarily long wait, & we had to pick up & leave our own items. For the price, you can get much better food & service elsewhere. Overall, a disappointing experience & a waste of money. I would not recommend this place for curries at least
