Java U est percu comme un lieu chaleureux et convivial, ideal pour etudier grace a son cadre agreable proche de l universite, des prix raisonnables et une offre gourmande. Le pudding banane et les bouchees pudding bananes sont souvent cites comme des incontournables, les mini pancakes et les pancakes a la pistache ou lotus apprecies, et le cafe et le matcha de qualite reçoivent de bons retours. Le service est generalement tres agreable et attentif, et les nouveaux proprietaires sont salues pour les ameliorations apportees et l allongement des heures d ouverture, ainsi que pour l ajout de nouvelles gourmandises. Des critiques mentionnent toutefois des patisseries parfois pas fraiches ou trop soggy, un matcha parfois dilue et un chocolat chaud insuffisant, et une remarque sur une publicite sur les manches de gobelets. Malgre cela, les avis restent majoritairement positifs et soulignent une experience agreable et une envie de revenir.
Server was so sweet! (No pun intended) , u gotta try the bouchées leches, it's new. They basically make the très lèches but with pancakes, & they have different toppings like banana or pistachio. It's not too sweet, & tastes amazing!!
Best mini pancakes in town , from food to customer service everything is spot on . The owner is very nice & always happy to serve & already two locations tried one on metro jarry & now guy Concordia , both amazing !if you crave a nice dessert this is the spot !
Such a cute café! I've tried several things from their menu & everything was delicious 😋😋The coffee's amazing, the service is great & their pancakes are sooo good💕💕💕
I think this cafe is not as popular as second cup was, & it's a shame. The place is clean, well maintained & they did some upgrades to finishing within last year or so.
The person working in the cafe is extremely kind & caring.
Coffee is always good, & they added pancakes recently. Banana pudding was very very good & available in the morning.
I'd like to hype it up a bit more, very sweet spot & is growing on me. Highly recommend for all to come out & try it out at least once! It's a warm hug amid the university stress

Very nice new owner! He's made lots of new improvements to the java u. The sandwich I had was great & so was the coffee. Overall one of the best experiences I've had at the java u as a franchise. He made my friend & I a sampling of the new mini pancakes with added toppings that are becoming available at this location. They were amazing! A must try if you are in the area!
Service is great, spoke with a lovely man named Aziz. Such a friendly person. He even gave us samples of their new delicious pistachio & lotus mini pancakes. Aziz alone makes the place worth a visit :)
First time coming here after passing it by so often, I love the location & atmosphere. Apparently they have new management & I just got offered this pancake with pistachio paste & lotus (biscoff?) spread, super delicious. Also appreciate them asking if I had allergies first. Excited to see new things coming!!
