It feels like Babylon with all the plants everywhere. That was just amazing & the jazz scene was just perfect. As we speak, the jazz will play until 3 pm, & come back at 6 pm until late night. I took the vegan jackfruit, which was very tasty.View more
Had an amazing experience eating here. Had my first poutine, paired with their specialty liqueur coffee & they were delicious. Ambience was great. Good interior & accompanying jazz music made it better. The service is a bit slow but it's because of their humongous popularity. This is the case of suffering from success I guess..View more
Amazing atmosphere! Live jazz music by really talented gentleman. Service was fast & friendly. Food was delicious too. We got appetizers for the most part & we loved them. We got the tostada de mariscos, the shrimp on the appetizers menu (don't remember the name but they were a favorite) & the cartier salad. All 3 were to die for. Food was so good I didn't take a picture lolView more
Everything was amazing, the meals, drinks & the service !!! Food took some time to arrive but totally worth it!!! I do really recommend this place, compared with others around this is the best I've tried. Live jazz music it's awesome.. it makes the atmosphere feel so good & chillView more
One of my favorite places is Montreal. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. The late evening live jazz is making the evening unforgettable. The only downside is the waiting time to be sitted, but once in, it is well worth it.View more
Went around 8 PM on a Sunday & were pleasantly surprised by the short wait; it seems like the service is quite efficient. Ordered a small pitcher of lychee sangria that was quite delicious & fresh, albeit quite sweet. We weren't too hungry, so we only shared a charcuterie pizza. There was A LOT of meat on it. While tasty, it quickly became too salty. We mainly came for the live jazz band, which did not disappoint. They played many recognizable songs. Ultimately, we did slightly wish we went somewhere else for our last night in Montreal as it was obviously a tourist spot. That being said, the terrace atmosphere was beautiful & the live jazz was top-notch, making the visit worth it.View more

Live jazz during lunch, delicious food & great service.View more
We went in as a group of 5ppl. We were 5 ladies. We knew that we would have to wait a while however we waited at least up to an hour or more for our seats. When everyone who was standing in front of us got there seats we still had to wait an extra 30mins until I asked the hostess how much longer we were going to have to wait. After 2min another hostess said she found a table for us on the terrace & that she was going to prepare the table for us . As she left the hostess that I was talking to seated us in the worst seating & placed the group behind us on the terrasse. Pretty unreasonable as we waited much longer than all the ppl ahead of us. Mind you we saw multiple groups of 5 leaving & also going in ahead of us. Our waitress was great. I had the American Pizza & it was delicious with the special sangria which was a delight. The Jazz music was certainly the right touch for the atmosphere. I would recommend anyone go there, I understand the popularity of this restaurant & the wait time but I don't think the hostesses treated us reasonably this time.View more
Nous avons passé un agréable moment au Jardin Nelson. Petit concert de jazz. Serveuse très agréable. Prix assez excessifs sur la nourriture mais je dois reconnaître que nos plats étaient bons : lasagnes saumon, tartare de boeuf.View more
Arrived around 5 on a weeknight & were seated in the garden with no wait. Food was solid. Crepes were heartier than what you might find in a traditional crepe joint. We were satisfied with our choices of smoked meat & seafood crepes. Our server's shift ended in the middle of the meal, so we were there a little longer than expected. Bonus--the delay extended our stay into the live jazz! So we ordered the maple creme brulee & some dessert coffee.View more
Food was good, the restaurant itself is neat. Nice patio, with light jazz playing in the background by a live band.View more

Siobhan made the experience exceptional. The crepes made me wish I had a second stomach. I had the Nelson. My wife had a crepe with mushrooms & Brie. dessert was equally as amazing. The atmosphere & the live jazz band made it so I did not want to leave. Don't overlook this place when you visit!View more

Absolutely visit Jardin Nelson for their beautiful garden & nightly jazz! We stopped by on our first night in Montreal & the atmosphere made a lovely first impression. However, the food is sub-par & overpriced & the seating is not the comfiest. But despite that I still recommend checking it out for the vibes.View more
View more
A magical evening in Old Montreal at Jardin Nelson. The outdoor garden in absolutely stunning with so many beautiful flowers & plants. The jazz performed while dining was so enjoyable. The food was amazing ... terrific presentation & sublime flavour. &, the menu options are plentiful. The service is extraordinary ... it is obvious that the team is well trained & very efficient. A special thanks to our server, Milan - her welcoming smile & cheerful attitude made our experience at Jardin Nelson memorable.View more

What an amazing atmosphere! They have amazing live jazz band which added to the experience! Food was pretty good but what made the experience exceptional was our server Kevin. Despite it being so busy at the restaurant, he made us feel so welcome & was so attentive throughout the evening. He was truly the best & so kind!!! Can't wait to return when I come back to Montreal. Shoutout to Kevin!!View more

Great restaurant with outdoor seating right in old Montréal. Our server (did not get his name) was awesome, he was attentive & personable. We had a late lunch here & then returned for dinner & the live jazz music. We thought the wait time for a table would be long. There was a line already formed when we got there. However, we waited about 15 minutes. for a table. The atmosphere is upbeat & fun. We had a fantastic time. The food was delicious, drinks were too & reasonably priced.View more
Excellent place, the atmosphere is very cozy, it has live music, jazz, they play & sing very well. The food is pretty good, it doesn't take that long even though the place was full. The environment is partially covered, sunlight enters & it has many plants. We tried salmon lasagna & orange duck crepe. Highly recommendedView more
