My friend & I were in the mood for Chinese Food & dined at Deer Garden. The restaurant is clean, well- illuminated & basic in atmosphere. We ordered Fried Spinach, Shrimp With Chinese Broccoli & Cantonese Fried Noodles. The Fried Spinach was sugar- coated & brittle to the touch. It was good but an acquired taste. The Shrimp with Chinese Broccoli was tasty, but the broccoli stalks did not need to be julienned at all. Still, well- flavored. The Cantonese Fried Noodles had a very good proportion of sauce to noodles, with delicious vegetables covering the noodles. My favorite of the three ordered dishes. Service was excellent. BRING CASH, AS CREDIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED HERE. I would recommend Deer Garden for good tasting Chinese Food.
Food didn't taste well. The portions are big but the taste isn't how fresh food supposed to be. I'm really torn between 3 & 4 because despite I like the idea of this place, my culinary expectations were indeed betrayed.
Excellent restaurant, very affordable... Ginger chicken out of this world! Best Singapore noodles. Been coming here for 25 years... never disappointed. 10-15$ plates

Tout était très bon, en bonne quantité & en plus les prix sont vraiment abordable. apportez votre vin 😊 Escalant service aussi. On y retourne sans hésiter. Dommage que je n'habite pas à Montréal ou tout près!
C'est selon moi le meilleur "apportez votre vin" du coin. La nourriture est bonne , le service est bien & l'atmosphère est agréable. J'y suis allé plusieurs fois avant des spectacles & je ne suis jamais déçu.
Amazing restaurant - delicious food, great service, honestly nothing to complain about. I recommend the fried banana if you like sweet things, surprisingly delicious ! It's BYOB & cash only The reason I took off one star for service is just because it gets very packed in there so there is sometimes a wait to put in your order - I would also recommend you make a reservation or call ahead to see when they'll have place for you.
