What a disappointment. I took the chow mein number 30 & there was more of the thick gooey sauce than veggies & hardly any chicken. I couldn't believe it, when I got home & unpacked the container. First of all, they should use better containers, aluminum with cardboard cover doesn't cut it. There was so much sauce that it leaked everywhere. Never again!Voir plus

First of all this is not a restaurant, it's a convenience store first with some cooking appliances like those fast food joint. No place to sit down. You order to go only. I ordered a custom meal as they had no vegan option with rice or noodles. However it still wasn't vegan since fish sauce is present in all their meals I guess incorporated in the sauces. Ordered the fried rice with fried tofu & vegetables. Expensive ~16$+ tx incl. for a small portion, much smaller than Thaiexpress & other fast food joint for similar meals. Very light in the hand & it doesn't fill up the container to the top. The fried tofu wasn't fresh. I know it's pre-made but this was very old ones. It seemed to dipped in flour & the crust was hard but not crispy, more like chewy hard. They put quite a bit of MSG, quite a sweet taste to it & don't know if that was why but I didn't feel good after eating it. Not very easy to digest either. The reviews says they have the best Pad Thai in the whole of Quebec since it is authentic & takes 35 minutes to prepare. I'm not too sure about that since my meal wasn't all that good. I figured since it's a family business there might have been something special to it. I won't be coming back.Voir plus
Après avoir chercher une bonne place de Général Tao dans les reviews sur Google, j'ai décidé d'essayer celui-là.
Si on fait abstraction du look extérieur de cet établissement qui est en fait un dépanneur, on y retrouve un personnel très sympathique, un service rapide (15 minutes) en téléphonant d'avance.
Je ne suis pas un expert en Tao, mais celui-là était bien présenté & très savoureux comparé à ceux que j'ai déjà mangé. Une belle sauce aigre-douce, pas épicé pour cette fois-ci, plusieurs sortes de légumes croustillants. Pour ce qui est de la portion, environ 20 morceaux de Tao, on a fait 2 assiettes accompagné de leur riz collant. 😋 Ça fait un excellent dîner.
C'est certain que je vais y retourner! �
