About Us
Jaja means in popular culture table wine, wine that we drink every day. In Latin, Jaja brings back laughter and fun.
This is what the new project of the next generation of Pastaga offers you, young and old moments when having fun around beautiful natural wines takes on its full meaning.
Near the Jean-Talon market, dishes are offered to share, simply and which evolve with the seasons that Quebec offers us. For an aperitif or for the whole evening, wines from sustainable agriculture are presented, which go well with cuisine that is just as natural.

Jeudi soir on n'avait pas de réservation (2) personnes. On nous a accueilli, trouver une table chaleureusement! Que dire de l'expérience culinaire! Nous avons mangé le calmar, les choux de Bruxelles, l'omble & les cavatelli. Des plats savoureux, délicats, soigneusement préparés & présentés. Le dessert au chocolat nous a chamboulé! Excellent restaurant, service attentionné, belle sélection de vins! Nous nous sommes partagé 6 plats incluant un dessert, il faut se garder de la place pour un dessert! We enjoyed all the things we ordered! My top 3: Chocolat/Gingembre/Bleuet - It's chocolate flavor but not heavy at all. One of the top cream puffs I've tried. Omble/Romesco/Kale - Really loved the crispy skin of the fish. Calmar/Concombre/Chili - A good fresh savory cold dish to start with. The chili oil is very flavorful & not spicy.View more

I only liked half of all the dishes we were served. The foie mousse was great, but the beets were meh. The arctic char was excellent but the eggplant dish was awful. The raspberry did not go well in that dish at all. It was way too acidic & the eggplant could've used a softer interior. The beef dish was decent, the steak had no crust on it, but it was seasoned well with a nice jus. The cavatelli had a nice chew on it. I didn't really care for the homemade ricotta. The chocolate dessert was amazing, but I didn't like the apple honey dessert. The flavour profile just didn't work for me. Overall, I wouldn't come back to this restaurant. I would recommend it if you were in the neighbourhood, but there is just way too many amazing restaurants in Montreal to want to come back here after so many "missed" dishes. 7/10View more
We went on a a Thursday night & there was only another table seated. The service was impeccable. Each dish was delicious from start to finish. The bread was amazing. Had the foie gras gougere which was out of this world. The salad of the day was phenomenal. The zucchini florets were delicious. Oysters were great. The beef chimichurri was divine. The fish was fantastic. We also had a glass of bubbly, white & red wine to go with it. Spectacular dinner. I highly recommend this place.View more

On a vraiment bien mangé chez Jaja. Concept de petits plats à partager, chacun très créatif & bien exécuté. Coup de coeur pour le calmar concombres & chili, un plat super harmonieux & original. En général on voit que chaque plat à été réfléchi au niveau des textures & des saveurs. Le resto a aussi une belle ambiance tamisée mais informelle, & un service amical qui sait de quoi il parle.View more
