JACOPO celebrates the unique Italian culinary elegance by offering dishes made from fresh and seasonal ingredients as well as specialized charcuterie!
JACOPO offers guests homemade pasta, fresh vegetables, roasted meats in a stone oven, roman lamb, and much more. Diners can also enjoy freshly baked in-house focaccia bread and homemade charcuterie and salami, cured on display in a controlled drying chamber. It doesn’t get more authentic than this!

The food was excellent, the service was warm & attentive, & the atmosphere felt genuinely inviting without being over the top. You can tell they care about quality, both in what they serve & how they treat their guests.
I've eaten a lot of Italian food in my life, but I have to say: the Margherita al Tartufo here was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The balance of flavors, the freshness of the ingredients, & that incredible truffle aroma-just unforgettable.
Do yourself a favor & order it. Seriously, it's a standout dish that alone is worth the visit.

Overall very cool place! Nice Italian food & a great location near the river & close to the ferris wheel. Highly recommend the cheese board. Giving 4 stars cause the service was a bit slow. For example they brought our wine to us after they brought the food, we had to ask for water multiple times, etc.View more

Great place in Old Quebec (Place Jacques-Cartier). I ordered the chicken, it was not a good choice (This is just my opinion), but the tomato salad, fried calamari, the beef carpaccio, & everything else we ordered was great. Otherwise the our service was one of the best we ever had. Highly recommend this place.View more

I came here last night for dinner & was extremely disappointed with the service.
I ordered a passion fruit martini, 40 minutes later, the waitress brings me a clear coloured martini. I asked her if it was a passion fruit martini (which are normally more orangey looking), she says'no, we ran out of passion fruit so I brought you a lychee one'. I told her I didn't like lychee & won't drink it , to which she responds'just try it' & then walks away. I did not drink my drink & was charged $17 for something I did not order & said I didn't want. To add, the food was mediocre & overpriced. Would not recommend at all.View more

It was an amazing experience my hunband & i went yesterday Friday May 1 in the evening with reservation. We got a text letting us know that our table was ready. Our server was welcoming & beautiful ambiance inside. My husband ordered an initial drink he didn't like & got a replacement. The food was amazing, fresh & flavourful. My husband & I had our baby shower event at Jacopo today & we recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a fantastic experience & place to celebrate their life event. The food was delicious & had great portions, the service was perfect-Maiva was absolutely sweet, & they delivered the event exactly as we wanted. Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere. We were a group of 8 on a Sat night in March during the Happening Gourmand event (which is why we chose it). Apparently, the restaurant allocates only 2 hours for the reservation. The waiter didn't come take our order quickly, we had no drinks or wine, just the appetizer that was on the HG menu. The gnocchi I ordered was chewy & not pleasant at all (I ought to have sent it back & asked for a different dish). The orecchiette ordered by two of our groupwas so spicy with hot peppers they couldn't finish - & one of them is Italian, from Italy. I don't recall any of the grouo praising the quality of their food. After we had finished & the plates cleared, the waiter appeared to declare that we had 10 mins to vacate the table for the next reservation. Those of us (4) whose special menu included dessert had not received any, nor had we been asked if we wanted coffee or dessert, & we hadn't received our bills. When I asked the waiter what about the dessert included in my meal, he said I would have to take it to go! (Pannacotta, really? How?) Then he seemed to realize his mistake & showed up with the desserts. It was clear that we were to eat fast & get out (still no bill). I complained about the bum's rush we were getting, & was told that we'd been advised of the time restriction upon arrival. That may be, but it's up to the server to take the orders in a timely fashion, not 30 mins late, & then start pushing the customers out the door. We hadn't caused any delay or were holding up the table after service. With the barely acceptable food & that kind of service, I couldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.View more

Had a wonderful meal here to celebrate my wife's birthday. I had the linguine pescatore, which was delicious & my wife had margarita truffle ravioli which was even better! The grilled calamari was also very good, tho a bit spicy for my weak palate. They then bright over a complimentary tiramisu with a sparkler for her birthday! Highly recommend!View more

There aren't enough words that can be used to describe how phenomenal this place is. I came for NYE & was tended by Pearce & Camille who are both absolutely fantastic individuals. I would highly recommend coming here if you're ever in the area. Be sure to wear your eating pants because the food is absolutely delicious, better than what I had in Italy.View more

Celebrated my 35th birthday with dinner at Jacopo & what a wonderful experience!! I must say; the bartender makes one damn good old fashioned! Every dish that we ordered was excellent & melted in our mouths. The highlights for us was surprisingly the chicken & the ragù a l' agnello. The braised short rib was cooked perfectly but we found needed some salt . Our server Emelien was amazing & deserves a bonus !! absolutely amazing staff & compliments to the chefs. I recently dined at [Restaurant Name], & it was fantastic! The authentic Italian dishes were bursting with flavor, especially the homemade pasta. The ambiance was cozy, & the staff were attentive & friendly. Although we had to wait a bit longer to be served, we were gifted with a delicious cake, which made the experience even more special. With so many options to pick for dinner in Old Montreal, I am so happy we went with Jacopo! My partner & I had an amazing experience. Our server, Laura, was absolutely lovely & made us feel so welcome. She was attentive & made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. We started with the Caesar salad, which was easily the best I've ever had, & followed it up with the pasta from the cheese wheel, which was simply divine. The flavors were incredible, & I only wish I could eat this meal every day! It was lunch time so we were checking places for food after wandering around the area & got attracted by the terrace sitting in this sunny & warm day of August 2024. The lunch menu was quite interesting & reasonably priced as well so we decided to give it a try. We were served by Dugan, who was very friendly, respectful, courteous & helpful with always a great smile. He was patient & took the time to introduce us to different dishes & gave us his personal preference & recommendations when asked. We took the chance with the "Calamari Fritti" as appetizer & "Poisson du Jour", which was a Seared Tuna steak served with farotto & some grilled vegetables... & boy, we were not disappointed by our choice, the calamari fritti was a pure delicacy, & the seared tuna was a thick chunk of perfectly seared tuna steak on the outside yet remained pinkish & tender inside, a joice to savour. For dessert, we went with Dugan's recommendation again & got some Tiramisu which was just delicious with an espresso to bring out the dark chocolate bitterness & flavor. This is a place that we would definitely come back again & highly recommend to all our friends & family. It is such a beautiful store. I recommend the beef bolognese. It is absolutely delicious. The outdoor space is beautiful with lots of vines going on the walls & beautiful candles. The indoor is so beautiful with a very old fashioned setup. It looks out on Old Montreal which is stunning & the food is just amazing.View more
