I ate with my friend & admired the food. It was totally different from the Korean food I had elsewhere. Each ingredient had excellent taste & texture, & the staff was also very friendly, making it a pleasant meal.
Each side dish is also very good.
very solid restaurant for korean foods. the menu has a great selection & the prices are decent. i enjoyed my beef japchae, & the teokbokki tasted great as well.
nothing much worth noting, it is a a proper place for average korean cuisine, there are many like it & it doesn't necessarily stand out.
the foods was delicious, service was good too & i wont even talk about how handsome the waiter was but the problem is foods was a bit cold :)) but still the restaurant interior design was nicer than i expected, the atmosphere was great, & youre likely to find most Korean food youre looking fo
Although I've never had Korean before I can confidently say this place is the best at it cool vibes wonderful service & the food was not only delicious but very reasonably priced which is something I rarely say the food was so fresh with such subtle flavours absolutely perfect I'll be back😏
We went for a family dinner & this is easily our favorite Korean restaurant in Montreal after trying many others (check my other reviews). Itaewon has a warm, friendly, & welcoming atmosphere, & the place had a nice crowd. On top of that, we were lucky enough to find parking right in front on a cold January night.
The service was excellent from the moment we walked in. The non-alcoholic drinks added a fun summer vibe to the meal. Food-wise, everything was excellent. The tteokbokki with the sweet rose sauce is a must, the fried chicken was excellent, & the seafood pancake was one of my favorites. The tofu soup was a hit at the table, & while the japchae was sweeter than usual, it was a pleasant change. Portions are generous.
We will definitely be coming back & highly recommend!
Overall lovely experience. The staff is very nice & accomodated me when I mentionned I could not eat meat in one of the dishes I wanted. The portions are very generous & overall the food was delicious. I would totally recommend this place for anyone that wants to try Korean cuisine.
I visited a Korean restaurant today called Itaewon. I ordered chicken coated in sweet & spicy Korean sauce with pork mandu. The chicken was tender, & the sauce tasted authentic, like being in Korea. The place is easy to reach by metro. I'd rate my experience 8 out of 10.
Very cute place , workers very nice , very chill. Generous portions. I Really enjoyed their tea. The place is very cutely decorated, with bunch of Korean stuff but also someone's anime figures collection 😅. THEY HAVE PHYSICAL MENUS
Needed lunch when I arrived & Korean sounded delicious. While I personally prefer dolsot bibimbap this was perfectly delivered. Almost went back for dinner a few nights later. Staff was friendly & menu was bilingual (helpful not having to ask for one in English, if needed).
Their fried chicken is to die for!!
Solid 10/10 ✨✨✨✨✨
Fries 10/10 ✨✨✨✨✨(just like Costco fries)
Best Korean fried chicken in Montreal! (2025)
Perfect crispy outside, super juicy chicken meat inside. Taste is also wonderful, light weight just so well proportionally balanced. 👏🏻 A special Shoutouts to their attention to detail! Onions slices on top was super thin, & the touch of seasoning on top of the fried chicken elevates the flavor & gives a well finished touch. Chunky fried chicken & also delicately seasoned. Wow!
( I did not like the Creamy onion sauce though, it was too sweet, I personally just don't like any sauce in general.🤣) I would order without sauce next time.
Great Korean food in the Village. Finally a restaurant where waiters speak french. Extensive menu. Great comfortable patio furniture, chairs & tables. Service was also prompt, polite & attentive. Let's talk about the Japchea. It was so tasty. Maybe 2 small piece of cabage. Lots of Shitake mushrooms, nice thick slc of red pepper, shaved carrots, sno peas & baby spinach. This was l fine dinig experience not solely based onn a greasy mix of greasy combo of cabbage & oinion. & they are pet friendly
Soy garlic + yangnyeom fried chicken were EXCELLENT! Pork dupbab was also delicious! Well located, right next to Beaudry metro station. Great Korean food with friendly service! Would definitely visit again!
Visiting from west coast, US with great Korean restaurants. Itaewon surprisingly great restaurant & all the food was very tasty. Especially the fried chicken, bibimbap. Could have used some bonchon, but not super necessary.
BEST Korean restaurant ever. I love the cuisine & tried plenty places, hands down the most delicious & they aren't stingy on the portions!! Had the soft tofu soup & the bulgogi BBQ they both SLAPPED! Saved this spot in my list!
Fantastic korean food & excellent service! Got the bulgogi beef bbq plate & it came with a miso soup, korean appetizers (kimchi, seaweed, mushroom) & rice. Huge portion & the flavours were phenomenal, will definitely be back!
Excellent service. Extremely helpful staff. First time having proper Korean food & it was amazing in this lovely restaurant in a busy part of Montréal. Would definitely recommend & would definitely come back again.
We came to Itaewon Korean restaurant in Montreal based on Google reviews, & it did not disappoint. The space isn't overly big, but the layout feels cozy & welcoming. When we arrived, it was about half full-just the right level of busy. My girlfriend & I ordered the bibimbap & spicy soft tofu soup, & we also shared the tteokkgangjeong (which I will not attempt to pronounce). Everything was absolutely delicious.
The bibimbap was perfectly balanced with crisp vegetables & a rich flavour. The soft tofu soup was warm, spicy, & comforting. The tteokkgangjeong-fried rice cakes coated in a spicy & sweet sauce-were a real highlight, chewy & packed with flavour. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, & made the whole experience feel relaxed & pleasant. Service was efficient without ever feeling rushed. We left full & already looking forward to our next visit. Itaewon really nails it for authentic, satisfying Korean cuisine in Montreal.
Authentic Korean cuisine with korean staff, the seafood pajeon was incredibly crispy.
Very decent Korean food & good service, but their tipping policy is not cool
