Née en Issan, Cheffe Pamika retrouve ses origines en cuisine avec le pari surprenant de l’alliance des terroirs : marier les piments et les tanins, le panier de bambou et le vin au verre, le grain de riz et le grain de raisin.

A l’heure du repas en Issan, on partage tout. Des plats traditionnels (salade de papaye som tam, poulet grillé gai yang) aux classiques revisités (Moo Kata, Thai BBQ et Thai Hot Pot), on picore dans l’assiette des voisins et on arrose le repas de vin et de sato.

We are a group of 11 people & have a private room in the basement of the restaurant which was very nice! The ambiance & the decor were great. The waiter is very considerate & provide excellent service. However, the food services were very long. We are a big group, but I didn't not expect that long. It took almost 4 hours for 4 services. The food overall was okay, it wasn't bad but it wasn't especially good either. The spring rolls & the wings were delicious. But the papaya salad is lacking of flavour & the tom saap beef soup was way too salty. Overall, I would recommend that restaurant to host big group for the atmosphere & private room. Absolutely Amazing Thai Cuisine! This restaurant is a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm & inviting atmosphere sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. The food is incredibly authentic & bursting with flavor. The staff was friendly, attentive, & happy to explain the menu. It's clear they take pride in what they do, & it shows in the quality of the food & service. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine or looking to try it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. Superbe ambiance avec la musique feutrée ainsi qu'un excellent service par Yohan qui a su nous conseiller pour le vin pour accompagner nos délicieux petits que nous avons partagé. Cuisine avec des saveurs authentiques . Les plats de style tapas sont une belle manière de partager plusieurs plats afin de découvrir leur menu. Issàn Wine Room is a true gem! The food was vibrant, soulful, & packed with flavor-every bite was a delight. The décor throughout the restaurant was absolutely breathtaking. Every design element, from the main dining area to the stunning downstairs conference/brunch room, was carefully curated & mesmerizing. I was there for a retreat / in the conference area for the full day. It was magical! What made the experience even better was the friendly & approachable staff. Their warmth & attentiveness created such a welcoming atmosphere, which I deeply appreciated. This is a place that not only satisfies your palate but also leaves you in awe of its beauty & ambiance. J'ai récemment eu le plaisir de dîner au Issan Wine Room & c'est sans doute devenu l'un de mes restaurants préférés à Montréal. Les plats sont colorés & très bien présentés. Les saveurs sont riches & bien équilibrées, offrant une belle explosion de goûts typiques de la Thaïlande, mais avec une touche sophistiquée. La décoration vous plonge dans une ambiance tamisée & romantique, parfaite pour un dîner en couple ou une soirée intime. Attendez vous à mélange raffiné entre chic, contemporain & tradition. C'était un véritable régal pour les yeux & les papilles. Le service a également été irréprochable. Lauriane qui s'est occupée de nous était non seulement très efficace, mais elle a su nous conseiller parfaitement sur le choix des vins. Mention spéciale pour le vin "orange". I showed up today at 12pm to particupate in mtlatable. The server told us that the promotion wasn't on even though it was advertised on mtlatable for brunch. We had to wait over an hour for our food even though there was only one other table in the restaurant (8 people total). Food was okay, standard thai dishes. Excellent authentic Thai restaurant, beautiful & romantic decor & good service. Everything was great however, the biggest downside was that they didn't have dessert as they were out of stock but they didn't notify us before hand so we couldn't have a sweet touch after all this spice. Specially considering that we mentioned when we made the reservation that it was our wedding anniversary. Another thing is that for the quantity & price it was on the expensive side so for big appetite you might be hungry unless you order many plates (small portions). Otherwise, in term of taste & flavor, it is delicious. One dish I didn't enjoy was the crying tiger as the meat was low quality (chewy & overcooked) & the price for this dish was one of the most expensive. Based on all that, I cannot give more than 3 stars. I will possibly come back during summer for their papaya salad (delicious) but I will call before hand to know if they have dessert. I recently had the pleasure of discovering Issan Wineroom, & it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome made me feel right at home. The setting is refined, with an intimate atmosphere perfect for a dinner with friends or a romantic evening. The food is simply divine! The dishes are a perfect blend of authentic Thai flavours & culinary creativity. Every bite is a journey, & the attention to detail is remarkable. A special mention for the wine list, carefully selected to perfectly complement the dishes. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. The team knows the menu very well, & their wine suggestions were spot on. I highly recommend Issan Wineroom to all food & wine lovers.
