Had an amazing experience at Iru. We chose the $70 special menu & were impressed by how many different seafood dishes we got to try. Everything was tasty & we left with a full belly. Our server also happened to be the creator of the cocktails, so the drink recommendations were spot-on & what we like. Highly recommend!

Belle découverte au Iru Izakaya, une nouvelle brasserie japonaise. Le décor est superbe, moderne & chaleureux à la fois. On voit que l'endroit vient tout juste d'ouvrir, tout est soigné.
Côté nourriture, c'était un sans-faute. Tout le monde à la table a vraiment aimé ce qu'il a commandé. De mon côté, les ramens aux champignons & au canard étaient excellentes : généreuses en canard, pleines de saveur, & très satisfaisantes. Les prix sont très raisonnables pour la qualité, ce qui en fait une belle option pour un lunch au centre-ville.
L'ambiance est bonne aussi, mais avec un petit côté'party' inattendu : le serveur nous a proposé des shots deux fois.

The food was delicious but they are pretty far from been japanese food.
The Karaage tasted like a general tao & tasted cheap.
The pokuribu (ribs) was delicious but way too sweet.
Gindara was ok, a bit tastless & way overpriced.
Yakiton was also ok, bit dry & tasteless.
The food food alone wasn't on par with other japanese restaurants & didn't make me feel like coming back. 3/5
Très bon endroit pour bien mangé & voyager au Japon pendant l'espace d'un souper. La nourriture est très bonne & goûteuse. Définitivement à essayer idéalement à 2 personne & + pour découvrir le menu à partage
Honestly i loved the atmosphere & our waiter. The food wasn't as great as i imagined, especially since it was quite expensive. Was a bit disappointed, since the place looked so nice & i thought the quality of the food would reflect. We did have to wait a long time before getting noticed by a waiter.

Super bon resto! On a pris le service Expérience & chaque item sur le menu était absolument délicieux!
L'ambiance & le style du resto est vraiment bien fait aussi, on avait les banquettes avec la lumière bleue (On était un groupe de 5) & c'était parfait comme emplacement.
Notre serveur Vincent nous a donnés des superbes recommandations de Saké en plus avec notre repas!
The food & the service was to die for. Shaun & Simon were so personable, professional & accommodating. Great surprise find, will definitely be going back soon!

Wow what a great discovery! We were just driving by when we saw this place & decided to try. 40 minutes before close, shaun & simon were amazing!!! Sake is 50% off on Mondays & Simon gave such a great recommendation & shaun's energy & charisma was just as delectable as the food! We got the edamames, the squid balls were so decadent, the salmon sashimi melted in your mouth & thr kinoko mazemen was delicious & a generous portion!!

The food was incredible. Our server shared popular dishes to try & we were so pleased with the recommendations. Highly recommended. The vibe & ambiance makes for a fun, elevated dining experience.
premièrement on me propose un peu de yuzu à mettre dans ma pinte de Saporo sans me spécifier que je serai chargé 2$ extra, le serveur me propose un vin rouge, sans me préciser que le verre est à 20$ la coupe (je prends deux verres), je prends le riz frit au canard, j'en ai trouvé deux morceaux. Disons que pour la facture très salé, je n'y mettrai plus les pieds.
