Menu carte blanche experience, tous les plats étaient savoureux, entrée de sashimi, grillades (le canard sur plaque était délicieux) & les sake bomb avec Laurence ont mis l'ambiance parfaite à la soirée.
Great place with good vibes & delicious food. I didn't like my seat tho ,but love the high top seats. The cocktail Tokotai was perfect & sake on point .
Amazing night spent here for my friend's bday with such accommodating staff. They immediately sat us upon our early arrival, had perfect timing for ordering & checking up on us. My water was filled regularly & dirty dishes were always cleared quickly. Waiter was professional, friendly & very generous making the night extra special. Sake bombs, salmon taco maki & especially takoyaki are must tries, such tasty seafood. Wonderful cocktails as well! Thanks to all the staff & kitchen, will be coming back for celebratory nights!

I went there once & the shotoribu & sake were amazing. Went another time & a quarter of the edamame were completely covered in salt & the rest had none on it. The ramen were among the worst I ate in Montreal. Expensive place so I would except every item to be good.
En un seul mot, exceptionnel, & je parle bien du service réalisé par Marie Ange. Je pourrais revenir en vacances au Canada uniquement pour ce service que je n'ai jamais vu ailleurs dans le monde. Je recommande le yakisoba en plat ! Sake bomb !
Not our first visit to Iru Izakaya (Quartier des spectacles) - the first was right after Pride this year - & we've been looking forward to returning ever since. It absolutely lived up to the memory. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a space that feels like a modern Japanese lounge full of vibrant energy, & the menu has something for everyone.
The true highlight, though, is the sake selection. Amazing range, amazing prices, & an experience all on its own. Huge shout-out to Sean, who helped make my Birthday unforgettable with some sake bombs & celebration in true style.
Already excited for our next trip back to Montreal because we'll definitely be back at Iru Izakaya!

The service was superb!
The food was delicious but they are pretty far from been japanese food.
The Karaage tasted like a general tao & tasted cheap.
The pokuribu (ribs) was delicious but way too sweet.
Gindara was ok, a bit tastless & way overpriced.
Yakiton was also ok, bit dry & tasteless.
The food food alone wasn't on par with other japanese restaurants & didn't make me feel like coming back. 3/5

Super bon resto! On a pris le service Expérience & chaque item sur le menu était absolument délicieux!
L'ambiance & le style du resto est vraiment bien fait aussi, on avait les banquettes avec la lumière bleue (On était un groupe de 5) & c'était parfait comme emplacement.
Notre serveur Vincent nous a donnés des superbes recommandations de Saké en plus avec notre repas!
Wow what a great discovery! We were just driving by when we saw this place & decided to try. 40 minutes before close, shaun & simon were amazing!!! Sake is 50% off on Mondays & Simon gave such a great recommendation & shaun's energy & charisma was just as delectable as the food! We got the edamames, the squid balls were so decadent, the salmon sashimi melted in your mouth & thr kinoko mazemen was delicious & a generous portion!!

Notre expérience est complètement mémorable! Nous avons passé un excellent moment, surtout grâce a notre serveur Shaun qui était impeccable, il a su bien nous accompagner à travers tout le service & on a beaucoup rit & eu du plaisir grâce à lui! Le menu découverte est vraiment à essayer, la nourriture est succulente. Je recommande fortement de vous laisser tenter à aller passer un moment dans ce restaurant & de profiter de leur atmosphère vivante & soignée. À ESSAYER: LES SAKÉ BOMB. L'expérience est très unique;)

The wait was a bit long but totally worth it! The waitress we had was so nice & enthusiastic, her energy was incredible. We ordered an experience, for 50$ & it was incredible. So much food for all of us & it was amazing. The drinks are delicious aswell!

We had the best time! They were very accommodating & informative & showed us a really good time. GET THE SAKE BOMB!! Thank you to Claudia & Clarence who made our night so special.
Had a late lunch with the family there today. Food & atmosphere were amazing!! Our waiter Shaun was so delightful & very knowledgeable. He gave us some sake bombs which we completely messed up doing but laughed so hard afterwards. Thanks for the memorable experience Shaun & the team at Iru Izakaya!! Will be back
