Bonne nourriture & bon atmosphere mais service très lent, pas assez de personnel. L'air climatiséne fonctionnait vraiment pas bien, & nous avons eu tellement chaud.
Pork belly appetizer is really good. They left the front door open on a muggy day of 36 degrees. Customers were sweating & they appear to he understaffed. I had to wave down my server multiple times for more water.
J'ai visité le Iru Izakaya samedi passé pour la première fois pour l'anniversaire de ma soeur & on à A-DO-RÉ notre expérience !! On était 4 & avons choisi le menu expérience à 70$. Oh mon dieu, on a eu tellement de nourriture !! On a du rapporter une partie du troisième service à la maison.
Nos coups de coeur :
-le plateau de sashimi ! Les poissons étaient hyper frais, on a même mangé les petites algues décoratives hahah
- le yaki moriawase : c'était un plat de 3 brochettes. Elles étaient toutes excellentes mais on a particulièrement aimé celle à la pieuvre & son chimichuri au shiso !
- La kanidippu : une trempette au crabe super riche & onctueuse.
En fait, je pourrais nommer pas mal tous les plats qu'on a eu parce que tout était délicieux ! Pareil pour les desserts, honnêtement, je reviendrais juste pour ça. Coup de coeur personnel pour la verrine au yuzu & les gaufres au pois rouges avec la crème glacée au matcha ! Juste miam !
En conclusion, le rapport qualité/prix/quantité était vraiment incroyable & notre serveur Clarence était super sympathique ! On a déjà hâte à la prochaine fois !

Par quoi commencer...Le DG est un humain exceptionnel, un sensei dans l'art des interactions interpersonnelles. Le personnel (serveurs & barman), tout aussi courtois, efficace & professionnel. Maintenant, la nourriture...les chefs & cuisiniers sont d'une autre planète!! La bouffe est succenlente, un plaisir sans nom pour les papilles gustatives! Honnêtement, je recommande x 1000! En moins de 3 heures, mes besoins en réservation pour une formule cocktail entre collègues en fin de journée ont été merveilleusement comblés! Wow! Wow, !accueil vraiment bien, service 5* ,nourriture 10* ,nous sommes propriétaires de restaurant depuis 40ans ,nous aimons la bonne bouffe ! Nous nous sommes tellement régaler 6 plats a partager a 3 personnes, tout les plats étaient délicieux. Le vin les aperos, rien a dire de négatifs ! On se revoit très bientôt !
Meilleur carte de saké que j'ai vu a Montréal je crois. Bouffe très bonne mais un peu cher. Trop de resto a Montréal sont rendu japonais & c'est les mêmes trucs partout mais on te charge le décor.... Resto a essayer !

Iru Izakaya restaurant after our friends in Vancouver highly recommended it, & we're glad we did.
The food was excellent fresh, full of flavour, & well presented. Every dish we ordered was enjoyable, & the atmosphere struck a nice balance between being lively & relaxed.
A special thank you to Lauren, who looked after us throughout the evening. Her friendly & attentive service made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived & added to what was already a great dining experience.
It's always nice when a restaurant lives up to a recommendation, & this one certainly did. We would happily return on our next visit to Montreal.
Staff très sympathique & beau décor, mais la nourriture était un peu décevante. Il y a peu de choix pour plats principal & les assiettes à partager sont petites pour le prix. Overall, une expérience sympathique, mais sans plus!
2iemes visite, wow & re wow, super accueil, j'avais demandé une place précise & je l'ai eu, ( merci) belle attention . Parlons nourriture, tout est incroyable mais nôtre coup de coeur les côte levée croustillante un délice ! Tout était parfait sur les 6 plats. On y retourne très bientôt ! En passant excellent service.
