We went there for my birthday -which I specified during booking & it was super nice, we had a table in the booth which are super cosy & intimate! We shared a bunch of plates & everything was tasteful & well cooked! Wine was good (Italian) They did a cute surprise also with the dessert ✨ I had an amazing birthday dinner. The decor & ambiance are really cool, highly recommend!
Pretty tasty green beans & very nice sashimi, but the duck fried rice was a bit bland & I was expecting more flavor there. The 1?liter Sapporo was a good gig.
The place is a nice atmosphere. The food was ok for my taste buds. Oysters was fresh but it would be nice if they have us side of radish sauce. Need wasabi & ginger for the delicious sushi. It's not a bad price to quick meal .
AMAZING!! The food was so so good & our waitress Eve was so exceptionally awesome! We ordered the short ribs - so good!! It came with several sides, Kimchi was one of them & we got a big platter of sashimi - also great. Not pictured is the hibachi beef - really good! I am so glad we got to go here during our few days in Montreal!

Wow! Un 24 décembre: le staff joyeux, festif & souriant! Clarence & Shawn, 10/10! Service impeccable, ambiance chaleureuse, nourriture incroyable!! Tres hate d'y retourner!
The food was good but the portions are small & the price is too high for what it is. We also didn't get any service throughout the night. Our server left & never came back, without telling us his shift ended & no one came to replace him, despite everyone passing by our table. Also, what was supposed to be karaage (fried chicken) ended up being a simple general tao.

Iru Izakaya was fantastic. Everything was delicious. The ramen & shared plates were amazing, & the vibe is incredible - stylish, lively, & fun without being overwhelming.
Great food, great energy. Can't wait to go back. 🍜✨
Le restaurant est superbe, le staff est extraordinaire, mais personnellement, le menu découverte est beaucoup trop cher pour la quantité. La nourriture est délicieuse par contre!
Great experience overall. Staff are very kind & the food is great. We were there until they closed & had a really nice conversation with one of their cooks. The servers were also very friendly, they offered us a drink at the end of the night. Will be going back & will certainly recommend
Nous cherchions à manger des plats japonais dans un bon restaurant, &, malheureusement, le Iru Izakaya n'a pas répondu à notre attente. Je ne le vous conseille donc pas pour trois raisons :
- les Yakisoba & Kinoko Mazemen étaient décevants & ne ressemblaient pas à des plats japonais. Les pâtes étaient plus comme des pâtes italiennes, assaisonnées sucré-salé. Le goût était très quelconque. Un peu trop gras.
- même si les trois serveurs qui se sont succédés au service étaient gentils, le service est peu efficace, lent & trop effacé.
- la décoration japonaise chic est agréable mais l'ambiance nous a paru froide & le lieu plutôt impersonnel. Il manque une âme, une personnalité, à ce restaurant.
