The best recipes are always those of the family, and you will not be disappointed at India's Oven. Come and enjoy fresh ingredients and dishes cooked on site daily, not to mention the splendid mixture of house spices in each dish. Even if you're not the spicy type, you won't be able to resist the smells that delight the senses. The decor is traditional and friendly and the aroma coming from the spices adds an exotic feeling to the place. The service is friendly, proud of its product and well intentioned. India's Oven offers healthy food at affordable prices. Everything that Indian cuisine is known for is on the menu: soups, biryanis and basmati rice, Naan bread, etc... Without forgetting the popular curry dishes or butter chicken. And as its name suggests, the restaurant offers specialties from the oven in which we cook chicken, lamb, shrimp and vegetables. There are also several choices of dishes without meat on the menu, which makes it a perfect dining place for vegetarians. To top it all, this "bring your own wine" restaurant invites you to come live the experience with your own bottle of wine, beer or favorite Porto!

The fish pakora are amazing. Also good, spicy soup. Love the lamb jalfreezi & butter chicken (which is much less sweet than other places). Bring your own wine which makes for amazing meals. Thanks Namrita (sp?)!

I cannot recommend the (lamb) Biryani however as the two times I ate my digestive system hated it.View more

The owner Namrata welcomed me with a warmth that is so rare to come by these days. The love & attention that she has put into every detail of the restaurant, from the wallpaper to the window decorations, is astounding, & you can truly tell that she has gone above & beyond to honour her parent's legacy. The menu is not tough to navigate, like most South Asian places. You can customize your own curry down to the protein & the curry base, such a fun concept! Furthermore, the butter chicken here is truly, truly authentic. Not too sweet, just the right amount of spice, shredded chicken, & the flavour of the kasuri methi shines through. The naans are crisped to perfection in one of the three tandoor ovens that their kitchen houses. Highly, highly recommend!View more

They newly renovated their restaurant & it looks BEAUTIFUL. Flowers on the ceiling, near the window, it was very elegant & neat. We were told they serve halal. The food was overall good except for some items. They have good portions. Hot & sour soup was delicious, however at the time they didn't have plain soups like crème of mushroom or a simple vegetable soup for people who have dietary restrictions for health. We also got chicken biryani, which was a miss this time around. It was more sweet which was confusing. We also got a non-veg platter that included shrimp, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka & a little salad. Good value for money. Their naans are nice as well, & it would be amazing if they served hummus with it. We also got their fish pakora in the beginning, they were the best by far. If you get these, get extra. We tried the daal as well (which we got on the house), & it was satisfying with the naan. My most favorite part of this restaurant is how lovely & kind these people are. The chefs are very sweet, the servers are beyond caring. They genuinely want you to have the best experience. Overall, I really recommend going to this place. Very very sweet people. Good food. Aesthetic remodeling & beautiful interior. You can definitely take cute pictures here. From a cute girls brunch or dinner to an anniversary, this restaurant would be a great one to go if you're looking for Indian cuisine.View more
