India Rosa had a great vibe, even on a Tuesday night. Great ambiance, the drinks were fantastic & every single tapas dish & main we ordered was absolutely on point. I actually regret not having ordered more dishes! I am very picky when it comes to Indian cuisine being of Indian descent myself, I find most restaurants in Montreal miss the mark but India Rosa hit the bullseye! My only criticism would be the service. Our waitress seemed to forget about us, we had to flag her down for drinks & the second time around she took my drink order but failed to ask my guest if they wanted to order something as well (they did). I do give grace that perhaps this is a short staffing issue hence still rating this a 5 start experience. Looking forward to dining here again!
Great vibe & drinks. But be aware: This is ''Neo-Indian'' food (fusion food), not authentic Indian cuisine. I am Indian & have travelled through India, so I am well-qualified to judge. If you want traditional Indian food, this is not the place for it. That said, the food is tasty & the restaurant gives you a sophisticated lounge experience. It is priced accordingly & always busy. Clearly, this is what customers want, so it is doing well.
Best indian restaurant in Montreal. Delicious food & excellent service. Went there once for my fiancé's birthday & yesterday for my best friend's & we always have a blast, great ambiance. India Rosa never disappoints!

I had Indian food in Montreal in so many restaurants, but this was totally different. I loved the taste, especially paneer pepper masala. Cocktails were too good.
Indian dishes & taste at its best! Thanks to the owner & chefs working ...will come back for more.
They did however forget my wifes bday request which I mentioned in my booking but the food is class!!
The overall ambiance was great. Certainly one of the best Indian cuisines you will find in Montreal however the tables are quite narrow & things do tend to fall from table.
Indian brunch--you really have to try this. I'm not always a fan of fusion, but when it works it's terrific--& India Rosa really works. Beautiful interior, friendly & kind service. The food is delicious.

We went there for my girlfriend's birthday. Ordered Soups, Samosas, Onion Bahji, Poulet Hariyali, Morue d'islande à la goan (Codfish), Poulet au beurre (butter chicken), Naan breads & Rice. The portions were great for 2 people, probably even a little too much ! The best plate was definitely the Butter Chicken, although the Morue (Codfish) was great also. They gave us a surprise dessert (Gulab Jamun) for my partner's anniversary, which was nice from them.
Beware, it is better to reserve your place, as there was no place available left for walk-in at 6pm.
The only negative aspect of the restaurant was the music level, as it is a bit too high. My partner & I almost had to scream to hear each other lol.
Other than that, it is a very beautiful restaurant, with a mix of modern & rustic decoration. Definitely one of the top Indian restaurant in Montreal, food-wise, place, & service.
Absolutely delicious food. If you have never tried Indian cuisine this is definitely the place to try. The food was so tasty portions were perfect & platting was exquisite & fun to eat & not to mention one of the most delicious lattes i have had yet !! Humble, courteous & bilingual, the staff was welcoming & made for a great experience. Beautiful decore & spotless eating area. We will definately be back soon :)
One of the places in Montreal you can call home. After much thoughts & juggling the list of Indian restaurants here, we decided to visit India Rosa to satisfy our temptation for garlic naan & chicken tikka masala. I must say, this place does the justice. From that moment onwards, this place has become our go-to place for Indian food. It suits out palate well. I'm counting days to go there again.
Delicious. We are Indian - parents born & raised there - & they said it was their new favorite Montreal restaurant, best Indian food in the city. Great ambiance too & delicious cocktails.
