We shared three dishes: butter chicken, curry cod fish, & a potato & veggie dish. Each came with rice & naan, & the portions were generous. The cocktails were excellent, & the service was good. Overall, great value for the experience!
Really nice spacious place, staff was great! The butter chicken brunch option is literally the best version of butter chicken I ever had, chicken was cooked perfectly & I could have buckets of the sauce. Loved the onion naan too!
Amazing Butter Chicken (we ordered with a side of rice & garlic naan bread). We can't wait to come back & try some more of their delicious cocktails!
India Rosa is a gem! From the moment you step in, the vibrant decor sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is a delightful journey through India's culinary landscape, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors & creative twists. The butter chicken is creamy perfection, & the samosas are crispy bites of heaven. The staff is warm & welcoming, adding to the restaurant's charm. Whether you're a spice lover or prefer milder tastes, India Rosa has something to satisfy every palate. Don't miss the refreshing mango lassi - it's the perfect way to end a fantastic meal. Highly recommended!
The atmosphere was great. Real nice drink selection. We stuck to the tapas menu. Potato patty's were over worked but the flavor was all there. Chicken was great. Tandoori paneer was ok. On another visit I'd get into the curry's which I have a feeling would be better.
The presentation was great, the food & the atmosphere were not. The paneer was beyond dry & served with an overly spicy sauce. The butter chicken was made with poor quality chicken & the biryani was average at best - something you would expect to find at a local food court. But what made the experience absolutely unbearable was the overwhelming amount of flies surrounding every table. Customers across the restaurant were visibly annoyed as they had to swat flies during their entire meal. We came here because of all the positive reviews, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.
It is a bit expensive but worthy it. Not familiar with indian name of dishes, the curry actually comes with lamb, I asked them to change to chicken. Good spicy I really enjoyed. Friendly staffs, decent meal.
We visited the place fir lunch with group of friends. The food tasted really good although the portions were on the small side for the price. The ambiance is really nice & welcoming. The service was not very professional, I expected more from a place with this price range. I recommend the Indian beer but stay away from the chai. The butter chicken is really well prepared, which I cannot say for the most of the Indian places in the city.
Started off well with an amazing aloo tikki, crispy potatoes accompanied by light & refreshing vegetables. The rest of their dishes were equally well-made. Butter chicken was creamy with a developed spice profile, not too hot, with moist chicken & nearly edible on its own. It paired well with their garlic naan, steamy, airy, tender, with an appropriate amount of garlic to not offend the butter chicken. Their tandoori chicken was unique, very onion-forward & sweet, & a bit of a lighter curry.
Delicious lunch! We were sat quickly & the service was great. We had the garlic nan, cheese nan, butter chicken & the chicken Biryani! Everything was amazing!
Leur chicken waffle est une tuerie !!! Je recommande vivement le menu brunch 😋
The food was incredible, chicken tandorri was so juicy & bouncy XD! The waitress was super kind & was not overbearing. Music was a bit loud at time but not overwhelming & good ambiance
I recently had the pleasure of visiting India Rosa in Griffintown for a delightful Father's Day brunch, & I cannot recommend it enough! The experience was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. We indulged in the Bene Butter Chicken, which was an absolute standout. The flavors were rich & perfectly balanced, making each bite a true delight. The presentation was as beautiful as the taste, showcasing the chef's attention to detail & creativity. Complementing our meal were the gorgeous drinks, which were both visually stunning & delicious. The mixologists at India Rosa certainly know how to craft a memorable cocktail that elevates the dining experience. The ambiance was perfect for the occasion - warm, inviting, & filled with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive & friendly, ensuring that our Father's Day celebration was special & seamless. Overall, India Rosa in Griffintown provided an unforgettable brunch experience. From the exceptional food & drinks to the impeccable service & charming setting, it was a perfect spot to celebrate & enjoy quality time with family. We can't wait to return & explore more of their menu!
Tasty chicken (butter chicken, korma) & vegetarian dishes. Great service, but naan bread could be better. Overall, if you're craving Indian food, this spot is worth it!
They have another location, but we ended here, & we liked it. They have a terasse. The service was great, though a minor mistake. Everything was good, some more than others, like the butter chicken. However, it's a question of preference. To be honest, it's a bit expensive if you want to try several things, but I don't regret it. It's probably best to reserve, especially if you're in a group & going on a weekend. Parking might be difficult. It did notice they said they offer valet parking on their website, I think.
Their popular dish chicken & waffles didn't disappoint! Must try. The ambiance was amazing & definitely up there for one of the best brunch places
Brunch was delish. We had the chicken & waffles which was perfectly spiced & sweet & the Salmon Tikka which was my fave. The service was quite lovely & would come again on m next trip. Enjoy!
Loved my experience at this restaurant ! Food & service were really good ! Butter chicken was totally worth the hype !!
Food & service were impeccable. Portions were great & you know you made a good restaurant choice when even the coffee is fantastic. Strongly recommend for brunch. Chicken waffles were to die for.
