I have tried maybe 5 other famous dumpling places & this one is the best. The chicken curry option is my favorite. I have eaten inside, takeaway as well as delivery. All are good. Always choose the fried option & get the large size. Plus a ginger ale & I am satisfied. The staff is also very kind & friendly.
Best dumplings in Montreal. I have probably eaten here 10 times in the past year. They are my comfort food. I always choose one of the 3 different chicken options & I for the crispy dumplings. They taste amazing. Sometimes I dine-in & sometimes I order delivery. It is very tasty & satisfying.
This was our first meal here in Montreal. It ended up being a great choice! The dumplings were hand made & so scrumptious. The dumplings we ordered & devoured were chicken & mushrooms, curry chicken & chicken & coriander along with a salmon poké, hot & sour veggie soup & wonton soup. Thank you Raviolis Impression- Impression Dumplings owners for the delicious food & friendly service!
The dumplings here are so good & such reasonable prices, especially for downtown Montreal. Their weekday lunch specials are a great deal. I had the Pork Mongolian Shaomai Combo & upgraded my drink to a hot & sour soup. It came with 10 dumplings, 2 imperial rolls & the soup. My husband had the Chicken & Mushroom dumplings combo & upgraded it from steamed to pan-fried. His combo came with either 2 imperial rolls, cucumber salad or seaweed salad & he chose cucumber salad. Everything was delicious. The Shaomai are like soup dumplings. So big, juicy & filled with soup. The pan-fried dumplings were crispy on the outside & juicy on the inside. The hot & sour soup was filled to the brim, steaming hot & so delicious. The cucumber salad was refreshing & didn't have cilantro like at other restaurants. The imperial rolls were crispy. Dumplings are made fresh to order. Definitely recommend!
Disappointing. Avoid the okonomiyaki (undercooked). The fried chicken was ok but the sauce was more a watered down ketchup than the usual spicy mayo.
Tried chicken coriander dumplings & chicken wonton soup here, both are amazing, quick service, totally worth it.-3rd June 24
