The service & food were excellent. We were placed on the 2nd floor of the restaurant where larger parties could be seated. There were a few large parties in attendance at the same time which lead to a loud & a little cramped atmosphere. This is, however, a minor nitpick. Everyone ate well & enjoyed their food & the service. Would still highly recommend Il Fornetto!
The experience felt a bit like stepping back in time - the restaurant could definitely benefit from a menu & decor upgrade. That said, the location is lovely & perfect for a nice walk after lunch or dinner. The service was friendly & attentive.
We didn't feel welcomed in the restaurant. Food is average. The atmosphere & vibe is good but that's the only thing nice about the place. Found the staff a bit racist/classist. We weren't offered the focaccia they usually serve to the guests. We had a late lunch so only ordered 2 entrees for 3 people. Got charged $5 extra for sharing our entrees. The portion size is very small compared to the prices. Would have ordered dessert & drinks if we were treated with some more warmth. Wouldn't go again.
We had the filet, pasta ortobosco, & the salmon.. the creme brulee & cappuccino for dessert.. all cooked to perfection.. they also accommodated our GF needs excellently.. ambience warm & cozy, it was our anniversary, so NICE... highly recommend ❤? LuvRK
J'ai donné 3 étoiles pour la cuisine, car j'ai commandé une salade César au poulet grillé. Bien que la portion ait été généreuse, j'ai trouvé la présentation & le goût plutôt ordinaires. Pas de bacon, pas de câpres… juste une salade assez banale avec une poitrine de poulet déposée sans soin dans l'assiette. En revanche, la crème brûlée était délicieuse, tout comme le cappuccino. Le verre de vin était bouchonné, mais la serveuse a fait preuve de patience & de gentillesse.
