Had a great dinner last night.This is a restaurant we frequent often. Service is consistent, food as well. The selection of wines are up to par with many very good restaurants, & the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend :)

J'ai mangé un risotto aux champignons qui n'avait aucun goût. Bien que nous ayons été bien traités, la nourriture laissait beaucoup à désirer. J'ai payé $39 pour l'assiette & j'ai mangé juste quelques bouchées. Il faisait très chaude.
J'ai trouvé l'emplacement & le resto très jolis en arrivant... La terrasse est spacieuse & directement face à l'eau, c'est très agréable... Le plaisir fût malheureusement de courte durée.... On s'asseoit & on commande un apéro avec un calmars à partager... On était pas encore décidé pour le repas principal mais on avait faim alors, on s'est dit qu'on va continuer de regarder le menu & choisir en attendant les calmars.... & bien NON! Ça ne se fait pas à ce resto... Contrairement à tous les restos où j'ai pu aller dans ma vie, on doit commander TOUT, d'un seul coup.... Hors de question de commander l'entrée & le repas principal quelques instants plus tard..... Bon, la serveuse est gentille & c'est pas sa faute mais elle insiste alors, on commande un repas à la va-vite.... Nos 2 pizzas végés dont une avec extra oignons étaient sans goût, MÊME après avoir rajouté du poivre & du parmesan... De plus, j'ai l'habitude de mettre des flocons de piments sur ma pizza... Je les ai demandé TROIS fois & ils sont arrivés lorsqu'il me restait 3 bouchées à manger....La lasagne de mon amie était une succession d'étages de pâtes sans sauce entre elles... Comme un gros bloc compact... Svp, faites honneur à la cuisine italienne & ne prétendez pas offrir une cuisine italienne aussi insipide....

No lo recomiendo por ser un restaurante con mala relación precio calidad Te obligan a dejar propina si te marchas sin dejarla te salen a buscarte en la calle para reclamarla Pagué 27 $ CAN por un plato de espaguetis al pomodoro
Had a great experience at Il Fornetto! We were a group of 6 celebrating my sister in-law's birthday & the service was excellent. The decor is very tasteful & the ambience is nice as well. I had a light pasta for dinner paired with a nice red wine.
I'm not sure what's happening lately but the last few times I've been here the food hasn't been great. The most recent order was tortellini Gigi which was made with sliced cold cuts instead of pancetta, a lasagna with no ricotta or any cheese layers, & two tiny polpette that were bland in a sauce that was not great. For what you pay here the caliber of food in places with more expensive rent downtown are so much better (e.g. Elena). Kitchen just needs to up their game a bit. If the restaurant is slammed, slow down the orders but don't sell dishes that are subpar.
