Great experience. Sat on the terrace of course & it was beautiful which gave it an amazing atmosphere. For those who are not sure, this is a 3 to 4 hour dinning experience, so I would not recommend children & for people that hate downtown for what ever the reason. The struggle to get there is worth it!

We had a wonderful experience at Il Cortile!

The service was impeccable, & the food was absolutely delicious. A special thank you to the hostess, (Luthe)who was kind enough to accommodate our request to move from the terrace to inside the restaurant, even though it was an extremely busy Saturday night. She was so gracious, always with a smile, & even apologized for the wait. We truly appreciated her kindness & professionalism.

Our waiter, Hicham, was also fantastic! He was very friendly, attentive, & always had a smile. He took the time to make great recommendations & helped make our evening even more enjoyable.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience & would highly recommend Il Cortile. Great food, excellent service, & a truly welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We made reservations online & while the terrace is beautiful, we did not have the best experience. My pasta was quite bland & did not taste fresh at all unfortunately. We did enjoy the wine & atmosphere though, so maybe I just had bad luck that day on the food front.

Si! This is an exceptional restaurant in Montreal ! As a private tour guide & as a sommelier I can say that il Cortile has the most beautiful terrace in town!
Hicham, our waiter did an extraordinary turn around with our experience! Bravo !!
The wine Barolo was the main star & the food, San Pellegrino & the ambiance made us really feel in Italy 🇮🇹! Grazie 😉♥?

Beautiful hidden terrace in downtown Montreal, with a lovely atmosphere & very good Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, the service could use some improvement. The reception staff & some of the younger servers have difficulty communicating in either French (or sometimes English), which can make the experience a little frustrating. The wine list is also quite limited.
Also worth noting: some tables are directly against & facing a wall, so I would definitely recommend requesting a specific table when making your reservation.

We had such a great experience at Il Cortile! The service was impeccable - everyone was incredibly attentive, welcoming, & accommodating. The food was amazing, & the terrace has such a lovely atmosphere. Everything was handled perfectly & we really enjoyed our time here. Definitely recommend!

Underwhelming. Nice terrace but food was nothing outstanding & definitely not worth the price. We had the tomato & mozzarella as a starter which was stingy portion & tastes like supermarket cheese. My partner had lamb ragu pasta which was decent, & I had the seafood linguine which at 44$ had 4 baby clams & 4 dried gummy unfresh shrimp - having looked at the photos, I was expecting other types of seafood on the plate. After the disappointment of the pastas we decided not to have any dessert. Also waited for 30 minutes to get my water refilled. We will not be returning nor recommending this place. I can think of much better Italian restaurants well worth visiting.

Great Italian restaurant with a lovely terrace atmosphere. The food was fresh, delicious, & full of authentic flavors. Friendly service & a relaxing outdoor setting made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

One of the best spots in downtown Montreal! The food was delicious & reasonably priced. The staff were very welcoming & kind. We visited a couple weeks ago to celebrate a friend's graduation & this place did not disappoint. We loved the terrace & the ambient lighting. When the staff found out my friend was graduating, they brought out a free drink! Our server, James, was the best. Highly recommend!
