It was so good! The atmosphere is absolutely perfect for a nice evening, especially with the little opera sung by the chef! Would definitely come back! 🤩View more
Resto comme on les aime !! Chaleureux. Nourriture excellente. & on a eu droit à une prestation (Ténor) du chef 😉😉View more
Very nice service with pleasant atmosphere! Opera singing was quite an experience! But I expected more from the food & it didn't deliver. Arancini was delicious. The amount of Pastaa was generous, but the amount of Parmigiano was not matching. Lardon was overcooked. I was open to try, but I didn't like the caramelized onion mixed with the pasta.View more
Visiting Montreal tomorrow & this is one of the places I'm looking forward to the most. So much character, & the food is great.View more

In the heart of Little Italy, there are many fine restaurants to choose from, & Il Bazzali is among them. We had the Ravioli, which was delightful & two kinds of Linguini. The real star was the Semifreddo dessert, which was wonderful.View more
Il Bazzali offers an exceptional dining experience that truly deserves a 5/5 rating! From start to finish, everything was impeccable. The meal began with a delightful basket of fresh bread paired with creamy butter. The drinks were refreshing & perfectly crafted. For the main course, the dishes were nothing short of spectacular. The braised beef was tender & flavorful, served with a smooth mash & perfectly cooked vegetables that complemented each bite. The beef filled ravioli was equally divine, with a rich, savory sauce & a parmesan crisp that added both texture & flavor. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy & inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed & enjoyable meal. The service was also attentive & friendly. Il Bazzali is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in high-quality food & a wonderful dining atmosphere in Montreal. Every aspect of the meal was flawless, making it an experience worth repeating!View more
The food was so good. No other way to put it. The waitress was also very nice & communicative. The portions were large & did not disappoint. It was a bit pricey but it was totally worth it. The interior is decent & cozy-ish. The complementary bread was super tasty also.View more
La cuisine que nous avons goûtée n'avait d'italien que le nom. Qui met encore des oignons & du persil dans la carbonara ? Portions all'americana. Nous n'avons pas entendu le chef chanter, mais l'ambiance & le service était bons au demeurant.View more
Good food, interesting decor, amazing service. Staff is top notch!!View more
Ciao !View more
Fantastic hospitality & food. Chef even came out to sing. Definitely one of the best experiences in MontrealView more
I went cause I am vegan & my boyfriend is not. The vegan gnocci was good but it could use more veggies. My boyfriend's parmesan ravioli was way too oily. I'd give 3 & a half stars if I could. I liked my food. However, it is way too expensive for what it is.View more
The food was dry but tasty. No sauce on my plate so I didn't fully enjoy the gnocchi plate. Service was good. The water was warm & I had to ask for ice.View more
The place has the decor & ambiance of a greasy spoon diner. The menu is very limited. The prices are like those in a fine dining establishment. I, as a native Italian, was not impressed. Would not recommend it.View more
