Food was okay, some of the meat were not seasoned, sushis not good. Service was quite fast though when quiet. Waiter rushing us at the end when we still had time left to eat, bringing us the machine to pay. Very unpleasant experience, & even forcing us to tip.

We went on a Friday night. It didn't look too busy. Low quality food. Most of the meat had an after taste. On the fried bun they had added a white sweet coulis that tasted similar to Krispy Kreme but way too sweet & with a weird taste. The mango ice cream was definitely not mango tasting, it tasted more like a kid's cough syrup. The servers had no manners. When bringing food over there was a weird stare from one of them. The last server who cleared the table & brought us our bills was rude & impatient. I have nothing against restaurants charging 15% service fees for larger groups. But what they did was before handing us the machine they selected the 15% tips for us. Which means we're paying 15% on the price after tax. That comes up to more than 15% service fees! In the end, the food & service was definitely not worth $41.99

Food was good, although they kept bringing wrong orders to our table, also they never came to clear our table which we found bazaar as we were four adults & a baby. Also the guy did not even give us an opportunity to rate the service & tip accordingly, punches in whatever % into the machine & handed it to us. Found it a little bazaa

Walked in Hoshi with no reservation & no prior Korean bbq experience. The receptionist was very nice & found us a table even though it was a Friday evening, they gave us an hour & a half before the tables reservation would arrive. We get seated & the bbq gets lit. Electronic menu on your phone so you can order constantly is a nice way to do things. So I get a Sapporo pitcher (yeah, yeah, sue me) for the lady & I along with some veggies & meat. Everything arrived almost instantly. Sushies & other Asian style foods are available. Beef, pork, veal, chicken, shrimps & the likes & they also have seasoned skewers of the aforementioned meats. You got the typical Asian style American food also (heavily fried & pankoed items) All in all we ate to our content & the food was very good. 41.99$ per person plus the beer & tip got me just south of 150$ Kids eat for cheaper. Strong 4 out of 5, enjoyed it much, will return. Unrelated picture of the eclipse for visibility

The only reason I’m giving this 2 stars & not 1 is because the food is good.

I’ve been here 3 times & each time the service was horrible. The first time I was here, they rushed us out & made us pay before we were even done eating. Second time I was there, we were rushed out & pressured to tip. Not only that, but the waiter typed in the amount for us to tip him… & the third time I was there (which was 2 days ago) we were pressured to tip again. I didn’t feel the need to tip because none of the staff really even talk to you the entire time since you order off your phone & then they just being the food out without even making eye contact half the time. The only time they talk to you is when they ask you why you didn’t tip when you go to pay.
