Title: Tasty Food but Serious Safety Concern
I recently visited Le Fou For at Royalmount Mall. The meals we received had a beautiful presentation & tasted very good, so my first impression was positive. However, during my meal, I suddenly felt something sharp poke my gums. When I pulled it out, I was shocked to see it was a piece of wood - part of a brochette skewer that had broken off into the food.
I returned to the restaurant immediately to report it. The staff member told me,'Oh, that's not supposed to be there,' & explained it was from the wooden brochette stick. She apologized & said they would inform the kitchen staff.
While I appreciated the apology, this is a serious safety concern - especially for families. A sharp piece of wood could easily injure someone, particularly a child. I strongly advise parents to carefully check the food before serving it to their kids to avoid any accidents.
The food was enjoyable, but the experience left me worried. I hope the restaurant takes this matter seriously & improves their food safety checks to prevent it from happening again.Voir plus

When we wnet thebfirst time for lunch a few weeks ago, things went much better. The person taling our order was attentive & helped us with the menu. Went back a few days ago, the person taking the order was on his phone, took a few minutes to acknowledge us, then didn't look at us. Food took way longer than the previous time, even though it was almost 3pm. The burrito was soggy & poorly filled & wrapped. My wifes meal had grilled chicken that was dry & bland, despite them bathing the preciously grilled chicken pieces in some type of liquid, we saw them as they prepared our meals. Too bad, staying consistent is the hardest part of running any restaurant . Wont go back as im not a gambleVoir plus

Not only is the food court this restaurant is situated in suuuper clean & aesthetically looking, but the food is just out of this world. i ordered the beef burrito & calling it delicious is an understatement. the blend of the flavors & extremely fresh & tasty ingredients is out of this world. highly recommend .Voir plus

The line leading up to & wait to have our orders taken, even when we were at the cashier, were quite long. Understandable, there were way too many people at the mall on a Sunday (yesterday). The cashier was polite & sweet, no issues at all with her service. Ordered a steak burrito - It was just okay. I wouldn't pay $18+tax & tip for the portion or flavours. My burrito was quite dry & bland in terms of flavour. But it is Royal Mount, I guess.. Additionally, about 6-8 hours later, my abdomen began hurting a lot. I unfortunately now have food poisoning symptoms. My rule in life is, if the food is delicious, I don't care what the sanitation situation is. With Hogar, neither standards were good enough & now my bowels are paying the price. Please, go somewhere else, for the sake of your wallet & your bowels.Voir plus

Très bon Mexicain! Les tortilas & les nachos fait sur place. J'ai essayé le tacos au poulet, délicieux cubes de poitrine de poulet mariné bien goûteux & tendres. J'ai aussi pris le taco de poisson qui était d'une fraicheur remarquable. Les condiments sont très bien balancés dans les deux. L'emplacement pour manger est des plus agréable. I give the food about 5.7/10. It wasn't good but it was average. I ordered the burrito with pork. The pork was not seasoned, did not really taste like much. Most of the flavour came from the rice & guacamole. The flavour was good but just boring & average. For instance chipotle & or mucho burrito is much tastier. Also ordered the "crispy" tacos & was surprised to see it was grilled chicken. Did not address it to the owner because we did not mind. Regardless the flavour profile of both meals is boring & not worth the price. Not be returning.Voir plus
