J'ai fréquenté ce café un long moment. Le menu est très bon, surtout leurs bagels. Une des tables a une vue agréable sur la rue. Hélas, plusieurs expériences m'ont fait sentir que ma clientèle n'importe pas beaucoup. Comme le fait que je doive souvent insister pour qu'on me serve en français. Ou la fois où leur caisse était boguée, & qu'au lieu de prendre nos commandes & de nous faire payer plus tard, les deux employé·e·s nous ont dit d'attendre & qu'on s'est tanné·e·s après presque 30 minutes. Ou la fois où j'ai demandé ce qu'étaient tel & tel café, & que même si en fin de compte, je ne l'aimais pas, on a refusé de me faire seulement payer la différence pour un autre. Je sais que rien ne les oblige à déduire le prix d'un article que je n'aime pas & de le remplacer, mais ça montre que ma satisfaction est secondaire.View more

My favourite is the London Fog, frothy sweet milk. Breakfast bagel was a hit especially being the bagel of the day on Saturday. New York bagel was very filling, chicken lacked seasoning.View more

Very disappointing. I paid premium price for a cappuccino that was sub-Tim Hortons in taste. Very poor quality coffee beans, as if it had been made with an americano rather than espresso. The cappuccino was also lukewarm (on a cold day - boo!) but that might have just been human error.View more

Cozy café place. Ordered a really nice hot chocolate to go. They have dairy/milk substitutes (I got oat milk). It was fast, service was great. If needed, you can add sugar (calorie free, normal or brown) &/or honey on the self serve counter before putting the cap on.View more

Tried a rosemary bagel recommended by the cashier & made it a bacon egg & cheese. I'm a picky eater & was incredibly surprised by how good it was! My girlfriend & I also think their hot chocolate is some of the best we've ever had!View more

Had a delightful experience at Bagel & Cae Hinnawi in Montreal! The bagels were absolutely superb, with the staff's recommendations proving to be the highlight. Trust their suggestions-they know what's most popular & well-received. The place wasn't overcrowded, & we managed to find a cozy spot on that rainy morning. This place has good food & drinks & the staff is always nice & friendly. I come very often to study & work. However, I was really disappointed to find out that the owner takes the tips given to the staff. This is an absolutely disgusting move on the side of the management. The staff is always nice & do a great job. Tips are given to the staff for their service & not so that the owner can make more money, especially in today's economy. People working the shift must get the tips. I hope this review actually makes a difference & people who are meant to receive their tips based on their performance actually do so. Can't believe there are still business owners who think it's okay to steal the tips of workers.View more
