I got a bacon & egg bagel here & my god was it delicious. The staff was really sweet & friendly towards my foreign & poor non-french self as I tried to decipher their menu. its a nice little cafe to sit & relax at too, with a big front window to stare out at every little passerby that treads the streets below you. I was looking for a great bagel place while visiting Montreal for a few days. The Hinnawi Bros Bagel & Cafe did not disappoint. I tried the bagel & cream cheese & the daily special - ham & cheese on bagel & both have been delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing & inviting. The coffee is also great. This will be my go-to spot when I visit Montreal again.View more

For a cafe or lunch place where you want to take your time, chat with friends, or study, this is a nice option. The interior has brick walls & lighting that give a cozy feel. There is extra space towards the back with larger tables to study or a quieter place to sit. The coffee menu has several options. The cortado was lovely. There are vegetarian options available for a light lunch or sweets. The brownie & banana bread pastries were a bit sweeter than my normal taste but were also quite good. J'ai fréquenté ce café un long moment. Le menu est très bon, surtout leurs bagels. Une des tables a une vue agréable sur la rue. Hélas, plusieurs expériences m'ont fait sentir que ma clientèle n'importe pas beaucoup. Comme le fait que je doive souvent insister pour qu'on me serve en français. Ou la fois où leur caisse était boguée, & qu'au lieu de prendre nos commandes & de nous faire payer plus tard, les deux employé·e·s nous ont dit d'attendre & qu'on s'est tanné·e·s après presque 30 minutes. Ou la fois où j'ai demandé ce qu'étaient tel & tel café, & que même si en fin de compte, je ne l'aimais pas, on a refusé de me faire seulement payer la différence pour un autre. Je sais que rien ne les oblige à déduire le prix d'un article que je n'aime pas & de le remplacer, mais ça montre que ma satisfaction est secondaire.View more

Cozy café place. Ordered a really nice hot chocolate to go. They have dairy/milk substitutes (I got oat milk). It was fast, service was great. If needed, you can add sugar (calorie free, normal or brown) &/or honey on the self serve counter before putting the cap on.View more
