Review Summary

Havre aux Glaces is widely celebrated for its exceptional variety of high quality sorbets and flavorful ice creams, featuring unique seasonal ingredients and satisfyingly rich profiles. While many customers praise the delicious, non-sweet taste and authentic fruit flavors, others note that portions can be small relative to the price and occasionally report inconsistent experiences with soft serve textures or cone quality. Despite the premium cost and frequent lineups, the shop remains a popular destination for those seeking creative, artisanal treats, especially for individuals looking for diverse lactose-free options.

Terrible soft ice cream. It tasted like shaved ice.

They have the best ice cream, period. Especially the sorbet flavors are the absolute best of what I have tasted in multiple cities in Canada & US. Lemon, clementine, argousier, passion fruit, etc. They are all so good. For sure I will be back to try all the flavors. Highly recommend it.

There's always a long queue when I passed by, so I decided to give it a try. It was expensive that $8 for 2 scoops but they were tasteful, seems like using a lot of ingredients as almost every lick I can see a whole pistachio in it & heavy matcha taste. Doesn't feel too sweet to me but I felt the cone tasted a little burned.
I would still recommend to try it yourself & enjoy the burst of flavors from the ingredients.

The portions are quite small for the price. Nothing particularly special, to be honest.
