I'm giving this place one star not because of the cost, but because of the principle. We were told at the start that my four-year-old son, who barely eats sushi, wouldn't be charged. Unfortunately, at the end of the meal, they went back on their word & insisted on charging us, even though the staff had clearly said otherwise earlier. It's not about the money for us; it's about being consistent & treating customers fairly.

Première fois, belle découverte, service rapide, beaucoup de choix j'y retournerai, 41$ par personne, 3p + taxe + pourboires=170$.

They force tips here. the guy told us'you have to tip at least 15%' at the time of payment. If they're going to force tips they have to tell you BEFORE the meal. It has to be clearly indicated & it is not. Not at the time of payment. It is illegal what they are doing here. If you're looking for a better place go to La Pere, It's on St. Jean. They have better food & the restaurant doesn't force tips.

I've been coming here for a good 5 years now & it's hard to say whether I'll be coming back. Food is very hit or miss, sometimes sushi is great but others you're not sure what that mushy bit you just ate was. I definitely don't think you should be telling new waiters to shame customers for not being able to tip & saying they'll lose their job if you don't tip, but I guess that's the standard we hold restaurants too nowadays.

Je suis aller la bas caliment decaliser & jetais avec mes chum on a voulus commander on est redter la envieon 45 min le service etais lent on a mm ps pus commander plus de 20 shushi & on nous a demander de quitter ce que je trouve pas vraiment acceptable pour 50$ ayoye

I had a wonderful experience at this sushi restaurant! The service was incredibly fast, & the staff were very friendly & attentive. There's also a great variety of dishes to choose from. Everything was fresh & delicious. Highly recommend!😊

I've been visiting this restaurant for almost a year now, & each time it improves in terms of food, cleanliness, & service. There are especially two lovely ladies, Ivana & Leni, who are always happy to serve my husband & me. They are the best, & the sushi is always delicious, especially at dinner. Whenever we have a cold, we come for their soup, which is always the best. No matter how much I praise it, it's not enough. I hope everyone tries it for themselves because you won't regret it.

I come often to Sushi Hanami. Ivana & Leny & the rest of the staff have excellent service. They always do more than what expected.
For the food, I would put more than 5 stars if it was possible, especially for dinner.
I always come here & never been disappointed once. You do a great job 👏
