We were a group of 11 guests & we had made a reservation in advance. We arrived on time & our table was already ready for us. We had the pleasure to be served by Alden from management that evening. He was knowledgeable & was able to help us decide what to order & in what quantity to ensure that everyone on our table would be able to eat to their liking.
We chose to take the flavors of Japan menu' Seasonal tasting course' & it was a fantastic choice. We had a couple of starter dishes & they were followed by fried rice & the meats. The quality, tenderness & flavors of the meat were divine. With the seasonal menu we got to taste many different cuts of meat. They were all excellent.
Sapporo beer was served cold & in chilled glasses which made that first sip oh so refreshing.
For dessert, the lava cake was soft, warm & so decadent.
As a group we really enjoyed ourselves & everyone left happy & full. I will be returning in the future for sure.
Went here on a weekday evening & it was crowded. Had to wait about an hour after putting our name down on the list. Food was great & the sauces on the meat were delicious. They had lots of different options especially if someone has allergies. Would definitely go back but with a reservation.
Emma our server was so amazing! She was attentive yet gave us space. She explained the menu well & was so great! Best service I've had in a really long time 😍

Très accuillant, bonne nourriture nous étions un groupes de trois & nous avons tous aimé notre repas. Pas d'attente pour notre part. C'était la première fois mais sûrement pas la dernière.
C'est un bon resto que je recommande, mais pas dans l'entièreté. Si vous êtes quelqu'un au palais fin, vous serez comblé. Si vous êtes une personne gourmande, vous ne serez pas satisfait des portions. Le coût $ des plats à l'unité pour en ravoir n'est pas abordable dans le boeuf atouch! Sinon, le goût délicieux est là cependant. Le service est super, l'ambiance est là. Si vous êtes quelqu'un qui aime boire, c'est mitigé. J'ai pris un cocktail & dès la première gorgée...j'ai été choquée. Je buvais de l'eau. Le drink était tellement dilué dans une montagne de glaçons. À la fin d'un breuvage avec alcool, je m'y attends, au début, pas du tout. Mon drink a été un gros 0/10 pour moi. Au prix qu'on paye pour aller manger dans ce resto, je m'attendais à des boissons plus généreuses en goût. Outre cela, j'ai eu une belle soirée.
Our waitress Kate was genuinely happy & helpful. The staff are very welcoming. The food is fantastic & amazing. Definitely worth the trip to Gyu Kaku Montréal.
Lauren is an awesome server, she explained everything to us as it was our first time eating here! Food was delicious & a great price. Very tasty, would come here again when we come back to Toronto
